Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

:salam2:

By now, there are plenty of materials presented by independent researches which are available online that the ‘9/11’ attack was an inside job. In the year 2001 or 02, US invaded Afghanistan. If Abu Hamza with his companions supported violation of Jihad back in 2000-01 that I think isn’t its against the US? Moreover what was the US interest in that as long as they are not doing in their land.

An extremist preacher and four other men accused of terrorism by the U.S. government arrived in New York overnight after they lost a years-long battle to remain in the United Kingdom. All appeared in federal courts within several hours of arriving.
The preacher, Abu Hamza al-Masri, is charged in connection with the abduction of 16 people, including two American tourists, in Yemen in 1998; conspiring to set up a terrorist training camp in Bly, Ore., in 1999; and supporting violent jihad in Afghanistan in 2000 and 2001.

In a final appeal to avert extradition, lawyers for the 54-year-old argued he could not travel because of poor health. The Egyptian-born British citizen has one eye and hooks in place of hands he claims to have lost fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan. Lawyers said he suffers from depression, chronic sleep deprivation, diabetes and other ailments.

Hamza was taken to a lockup next to the federal courthouse in lower Manhattan. He later appeared in court for the first time Saturday wearing a short-sleeved blue prison shirt but without his prosthetic hooks, which he complained had been taken away as he was being transported from London overnight.

His court-appointed lawyer, Sabrina Shroff, asked that his prosthetics be immediately returned “so he can use his arms,” The Associated Press reported.

In the 1990s, the fiery anti-American preacher turned London’s Finsbury Park Mosque into a training ground for extremist Islamists, attracting men including Sept. 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui and “shoe bomber” Richard Reid.

Hamza, indicted under the name Mustafa Kamel Mustafa, entered no plea, saying only “I do” when asked by U.S. Magistrate Judge Frank Maas whether he swears that his financial affidavit used to determine is he qualifies for a court-appointed lawyer was correct.
Separately, Egyptian Adel Abdel Bary, 52 and Saudi Khaled al Fawwaz, 50, are charged with conspiring with al-Qaida to kill Americans and attack U.S. interests abroad.

Bary is also charged with murder, conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction and other offenses in connection with the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, which killed 224 people and injured thousands more.

Al-Fawwaz and Bary appeared in a New York court and pleaded not guilty Saturday afternoon, AP reported.

Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, called the extradition “a watershed moment in our nation’s efforts to eradicate terrorism.”

“As is charged, these are men who were at the nerve centers of al-Qaida’s acts of terror, and they caused blood to be shed, lives to be lost, and families to be shattered,” Bharara said, The extradition “makes good on a promise to the American people to use every available diplomatic, legal, and administrative tool to pursue and prosecute charged terrorists no matter how long it takes.”

Two others — Syed Talha Ahsan, 33, and Babar Ahmad, 38 — pleaded not guilty in a federal court in New Haven, Conn., just hours after their arrival in America, AP said

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

All i can say is they are ghaddars, munfiqs ,terrorists and product of twisted minds.

US needs to make its laws stronger to put these scumbags to justice in shorter time.

These people not only put life of innocent people in danger but also bring bad name to their community and religion.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

They are a horrible symptom of a much more sinister problem ...

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

kill these terrorists

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Uhm, there had been a lot of support to not get Babar Ahmad extradited. It's pretty sad when fellow Muslims can't even pay enough attention to current affairs to know that not everyone the US tars with the same brush has actually engaged in terrorist activities.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Peace stoppit :)

Nice to see you. Only a non-Muslim on this thread here has being calling those extradited as terrorists.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

^^

Good and what do all the Muslims on this thread call those extradited as ???

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

these are terrorists cowards and leeching beggars. while this hook has been plotting to kill innocent people his own family has been enjoying the generosity of the same people - his wife living in a 5 bedroom mansion provided by the people of England free of cost, getting welfare money.

anyone defending these lowest of lowest form of life as anything else simply bring shame to thmeselves

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Typical coward mullah. For years he brainwashed people to go fight & die, become suicide bombers, fight the western world, fight democracy...but when his turn comes to stand up and fight....he claims he is sick and to weak and uses the same democratic institutions and laws to not face the music

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

The condition of the Western regimes is that they truly believe they are doing everything they can to reduce terrorism and create peace, but in reality they do not realise that they are the ones creating it.

The Muslims who have chosen to incite against the Western powers only do so because the Western powers have failed to deal with the international communities fairly. I don't agree with the reaction being made by the Muslims who adopt this radical stance, but I don't blame them entirely either. At least they care for the Muslims around the world. It would be much wiser to show the Western people how great Islam is and how nice we can be to one another and to them. They have a soft heart ... It is softer than our heart in many cases. The regimes I'm not impressed with, but I'm sure most of the people living in the west are not impressed with their own regimes either. Hmmm ... Not sure about Americans though :p

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

In last 100 years more Muslims have been killed by other Muslims than non-Muslims. It that the example of love and care you are talking about?

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

There is no doubt that this is the case. Over the past few centuries, however, the West have turned us against each other, made us love their ideals, made us consumers, made us nationalistic and they have lived up to their motto of divide and conquer ... We were only killing each other as a result of Western intervention.

But yes we should take some blame ... Why did we let them do that to us? Why do we continue to let them turn us against ourselves Shamraz?

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

So you are basically saying that the Muslims are not able to think for themselves, but dance to the tune of the westerners.

Yet they have no qualms in enjoying the welfare benefits the western governments provide them. Their care for Muslims around the world should not be subjective. If they truly believe in something don't feign illness, standup and make a case for yourself.

You are not impressed with the regimes, but have no qualms in enjoying the benefits these same regimes provide you. Nice job, citizenship etc

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Peace StormRaiser

I take the good from every society and culture and reject/ignore the bad from every society and culture ... you should do that also.

The people are being led by a deceptive process - it filters itself down to our level and makes everything seem a bit queer and out of shape ... The fact that these "prisoners" are 'ill' makes no difference to the regimes who want to make an example of them. The way they do this is by picking them out and disclosing them through the media with spin.

I admit that if a person who had been through a trial and convicted of being a trouble maker and then he starts to feign illness you have a point - but you forget these people were held for long durations on suspiscions ... I am for the principle of "Innocent until proven guilty" I hope that applies across the board to all people ... but it does not.

Just because a person has been vocally saying that we need to support our brothers and sisters around the world - albeit - he stated this in military terms - whereas I would say this should be done through other channels ... they are deemed inciters to hatred - because the regimes view such people as creating adversity within their own populous. They don't question whether their soldiers should be in those countries in the first place.

The problem with extradition is that at the moment there is not enough that we are doing to demand evidence from the requesting country to justify that action ... In its endeavour to maintain ties with America for example the UK bend over backwards and give up the people. This should be made more fair. Everything regarding those radical Muslims themselves is premature until they are given a fair trial.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

From your statement "Just because a person has been vocally saying that we need to support our brothers and sisters around the world - albeit - he stated this in military terms - whereas I would say this should be done through other channels ... they are deemed inciters to hatred - because the regimes view such people as creating adversity within their own populous."

Let us take a step back... If you are in a country and state that it is right to attack a friendly country and its citizens do you still think that this guy needs to be honoured for what he is doing. There are other means of protest which people are familiar with.

Let me ask you a simpler question -- If this guy truly believes in what he said, why is it that he has to take an excuse of illness and fight extradition.
A simple example would be the person who killed Gen Dyer(of Jalianwallah fame). He stood up and owned the punishment. That is what bravery is and truly believing in your cause. Only a coward would take the excuse of illness to stop extradition.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

These people are Muslim version of BNP and EDL etc...don't know why we're wasting our time on them?

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

We pay a lot of bloody tax. And besides, we're not living under a dictatorship that stops us from questioning the government policies. Brown people need to get out of this inferiority complex and "gora sahib is always right" mentality.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Sorry hareem its not about gora shaib mentality, but about hypocrisy of those claim to be pious; when its pointed out to them they don't like it.

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

Are you kidding me? Taliban killing schools girls, or blowing up markets, or SSP hunting down shia doctors in Karachi or Hazaras being killed by SSP in Quetta is all done by the west?

Re: Abu Hamza, 4 others tied to al-Qaida arrive in US to face terrorism charges

so let me get this straight they could not charge them in UK court of any crime they was kept in prison for over 10 years without any charge, so now they have been renditioned to the United States and face a kangaroo court where not even a single muslim can get a fair trial because of the anti muslim sentiment that is prevalent in the United States. They will be slapped with trumped up charges, and most likely be given 86 years in jail like afia siddiqui.

The west has truly lost the battle of ideologies if their own judges, politicians and lawmakers act like third world states with this extraordinary rendition they are participating in.
