I was reading a book about abortion and I came across an interesting statistically proven fact, that men are more Pro-Abortion than Women . I was always under the impression that men are more pro-life .
I wasn't satisfied so I asked my apartment-mates that if their gf gets pregnant unplanned then will they take abortion as an option ? and they said Yes . When I asked about the wife then one of said Yes and the other one said No .
I think I am still confused that why men are more pro-abortion than women . Is it just running away from responsibility or something deeper that I can't figure out .

its may be not running away from responsibility; but its also a proof of sin that they have committed when we are talkin about girl frnds.. n they dont want any proof for their insincerities in life..
i blv, a man shdnot touch a woman when sincerity doesnt lie in his heart.. once sincerity is there, they cant even think of an abortion.. cuz babies are signs of the love bond that a man and a woman share.. n love is all about making life.. not taking life..
well, yeh it really depends, everysituation is different so are men ...
i can only talk for my self and my situation, it was running away from resposibility and cuz of the fact as already mentioned, that nobody then a women can feel they way she feels when she is pregnant & how strong the bondy is ... even describing it in words will do no justice to that wonderful feeling at all ...
some men realizie that some dont ... and some grow and learn from their mistakes afterwards as my husband did ...
And they in general believe in die or kill philosophy.

I don't know why you are getting all sarcastic here but it does not change the facts. Islam believe in collectivism and muslim are required to not only live their lives by sharia but also make sure others are doing the same.(Amr bil maroof and nahi anil munkir philosophy ). That is why homosexuality and sex outside marriage etc are not only considered sins but punishable crime in muslim countries.

My bad, I only wrote opposite of live and let live in response to this statement of yours, since you say they do not in general believe on it. Your explanation above was vague and did not match with this statement.
If you say it is neither live/let live, nor die/kill, then it must be something in between, meaning they just leave themselves and others hanging. That is another revelation if true.
