I have come across more harsher people than that. You would be surprised with human behavior how inconsiderate they can be specially if they know that there is nothing other person can do other than having a heartache.

Only because it's easy for people to say 'just keep it' but perhaps they would act differently if it was a family member or someone they knew having to deal with it.. Anyway, do agree with Mirch's answer of adoption but then again there are prob a lot of girls out there who've been raped who wouldn't even physically or mentally be able to cope with going thru the pregnancy, may want to self-harm or even become suicidal, esp Muslim girls..

Deeba, abortion is haram in any case. You never know what is inside the tummy. Even if child is born with disability, it is Allah's will. One must accept it whole heartedly.

Rape is a different scenario and abortion is halal. God and the girl know.

Some mujtahids will allow it in some case , but not in all . Some will not allow in any rape case.
you can go with that mujtahids reasoning with which your heart agrees.

A husband cannot rape his wife. Wife has to submit to his sexual desire (her farz).

For a date rape, she should report to police and elders. Girls know well what happened. If she thinks it was a rape, abortion is allowed. The question is he did or she invited and let it happen. Do you remember Hazat Yousuf waqia in Quran. He was blamed.

what if sexual act is threatening to her life? I know of a lady where doctors told her that if she gets pregnant, that could kill her (because of some compications) .. husband still had sex with her without her consent and she got pregnant and eventually died because of complications. Was that a rape or no?

... umm yea very stupid and dumb .. that guy was such a LO$ER ... i would of not found this such a big deal if it was the choice of the mother to obort baby .. but the hus forcing ... yea thats totally wrong ... overall i think when a girl gets pregenant she has the right to do whatever she wants .... like a lot of women do abort babies , and i'm not against that personally cuz .. u never know what the mother is going through ... like if she got raped or somthin similar and she was very young ... then i think it would be very reasonable to obort the baby ... but if somone just aborts the baby for no real legit reason then thats just soo wrong . There was this girl i knew she got married and was pregenant like 3 months later adn when the guy and the girl found out that she was preg. they decided to abort the baby , like they both actually didnt want the baby so they wanted to get an obortion .. and so they got the abortion done and when everyone else asked them why they did that ... there reply was. " we want to enjoy our life for a few more years without a burden .. we wanna be able to go on our honymoons and enjoy " .. and seriously when i heard about this i was like whow U GUYZ ARE SOOO RETARDED ... like whow just cuz of that u got a abortion ... Like if u were soo concerned of somthin like that at first place then why didnt u use some sorta condom or some other thing to avoid a baby.. anywayz that was really dumb and stupid...Like i'm not totally against an abortion but it has to be a legit reason . lol the posts soo long ahaha

Um yeah…I don’t think it was the black magic (done by relos) that drove your wife away from you.

Methinks the culprit might be someone more intimately involved…someone of closer proximity…to the former Mrs. :rolleyes:

Mustanamalik, a Muslim husband could rape his wife.. She doesn’t have to submit if she isn’t feeling well or something.. also obviously stuff like violent sex could come under rape as well..

All of you are taking me wrong. If wife is not feeling well or has a medical condition, that is a different case. One has to kill his desire. But there is no RAPE between husband and wife in normal conditions. Women on this forum are too Americanized.

I know a couple that aborted their baby, because they just got married, spent one night together and he left for business the next day, and while he was away , the wife found out she was pregnant (after spending only 1 night together). She aborted the baby because she was embarrased by what ppl will say, "that she got pregnant after just 1 night" ... Allah (swt) never gave them a baby again.. they are about 60 now, and childless.

I'm not implying that Allah (swt) will do that in every case... just telling this story for everyone to be aware.. not to play with nature and Allah's will.
