Abort mission Abort mission!

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

You see some people hv been advising her that she should have the baby, that he will change his mind. She wants to have the child. And is wondering about that. To go ahead and have the kid, and hope he will come around.

Im playing devils advocate here and asking her, what if he doesnt?

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Is this where we are heading once we deal with poverty and hunger? I guess you give Pakistani muslims enough freedom, they might put people of sodom and gomorrah to shame

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Is this even a couple in Pakistan?^

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Well apparently the place has changed since the last time I was there. Are Pakistani parents these days fine with their children having pre-marital sex?

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Some are if they are engaged. I think I mentioned once in an old thread about knowing a lot of desi couples living together after being engaged (this is in Karachi and Lahore, a few in Toronto) so I guess their parents can assume they're having sex?

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

I haven't heard such in the relatives (near or distant) but I ain't surprised if it is starting to happen in Pakistan. The families must be liberal enough to do it, considering the taboo that still exists. I can only think of it that the family tells the world that the couple are married, but the party would happen later as they don't have money right now.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

^nope, they get engaged and everyone knows that. They often say they are living together so the girl who is studying can be safe or doesn't have to live alone. This is in Lahore btw. The girl was from Karachi studying in Lahore where her fiance was from. Both their families let them live together and they'd be married once their education was done.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

I have heard of cohabitation in india, so I guess it is making its way to Pakistan in a “halal way” :hehe: as far as bollywood things go. I always wonder what Pakistan would look like when this current generation takes charge i.e. will they become their parents aka conservative or will Pakistan be permanently “opened up”?

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

wow...
super crappy situation.
It's hard for her to dig herself out of this one, she looses both ways.
So this is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with....
the man that who wants to kill their baby and is not willing to take responsibility,
wat a douche.

To girl- Are you so blinded with love you can not see your own faults?
Everybody makes mistakes but you have to learn which ones are worth fighting for,
this relationship is already showing the ugly and your not even married yet.
Aborting a child is covering from your sins from society, but God knows in the end.
Hiding your secrets will only lead to pain for you,and cause harm to an innocent baby.
Can you live with the fact that you killed your baby so others won't find out or cause your fiance didn't want to be a dad.
Your both responsible... you'll find a way to support the child,
don't take the easy way out because its convenient, in the end its YOUR child.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Pakistan is quite open. I often discover new things all the time. Makes me think it has to do with our families and how we were raised if cohabitation is considered “liberal”. Vaneeza Ahmed and Ali Azmat lived together for years (he even said “she will never crawl back into my bed!” to a magazine after they broke up implying they obviously had sex) and no, they weren’t even engaged yet. And then there was Amina Haq and Ammar Belal, both lived together until they got married for at least 6+ years. It happens.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

i would like to know the answer to this question as well

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Maybe in the 1% of the population, and in that case it probably has happened in the past as well.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Wow, looks like all those who judge this lady harshly lead a perfect life. Use of words such as "disgusting" for a human fault, in my opinion, is not very religious.

Anyway, agree with what's her name post 28 - why bring a child into this world with the odds stacked against it - since the father would be an unwilling parent.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Demi and her friends…

Why are people on a FORUM deciding the fate of an unborn child?

I think there should be a moratorium on stupendously stupid topics like this.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

I am amazed constantly at how this world works.

People who don't want babies or moreover, don't deserve them, get them.

People who REALLY WANT a child: nuthin'

The world makes sense again.

Tell your friend this.

GROW UP, or quit having sex. There need not be further midgets of her kind.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Giving birth to a child who is already being resented by the father is not noble.

Its selfish.

Her options are:

Abort

Give the baby up for adoption to a family in need

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Yeah, tell the moron to give the kid to me. I actually want to have a kid, and I'd do a **** better job of taking care of it suprise suprise WITHOUT a guy, anyway.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Keep the baby and be sensible and figure out a way to make it work. An abortion will be the end of their relationship and a lifetime of regret.

The have 9ish months to work things out and learn to behave like caring adults.

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

jeeyo PCG, jeeyo

Re: Abort mission Abort mission!

Ok I let her read these posts to get a rounded opinion and she must be super hormonal cos she ended up crying about it all.
