Btw question abt nans: Has anyone tried them with wholewheat or chapati flour? I am otu of maida so i just made the dough with chapati flour. Lets see how it turns out but i wanted to be ready for suprises.

^IRA...i have made them with whole wheat flour
(the one i use to make regular roti).....they turned out fine...just a bit darker in shade then the naan u will make with regular flour....so dear there wont be any surprises...:)
(btw....i used 1 cup regular flour and the rest whole wheat flour....)

chipsy thanks so much for the reply. My nans turned out pretty good despite the use of all chapati flour (i was out of maida). By the way i made keema naans.

Seb do u just cook Daal and than add Makhan in it and thats it ??? or do u have some other recipe for it ??

ummm… your biryani looks yummy. I love the fact that your biryani has alot of masala and you can literally see each and every long grain. that to me, is professional and when I make biryani I make sure its not only masala-e-daar, its also appealing and the rice is not mashed!

but really, I m not just sayin the pics are great but the variety of food you make is just … eye popping I am a gud cook myself but I work so dun find the time to cook that much… but whatever little I know… I cook very well touch wood! can I please have the recipe for your potatoes with beef, gravy and veggies. It is not a paki dish, its western and I have see n this dish in chillies and TGI fridays… its really gud!

Honestly, I am not that great a cook, you’re giving me too much credit here . I just love trying and experimenting. I work almost full time myself. So there are plenty of days that I don’t cook fresh food. When I have the time though I love spending time in the kitchen.
