lol! I’m 99.99% sure that isn’t salt. It is some type of cheese either cotija cheese or maybe parmesan? ![]()

Elote, or Mexican style street corn is the best!!!! It's my favorite way to have corn on the cob...and Guac is right about the cheese...I prefer cotija, as its more authentic but will use Parmesan in a pinch

Yes I used dry parmesan. No salt needed.

I never had corn with cheese this way…I am a typical desi when it comes to corn…roast it and then eat it with nice lemon-salt-chat masala-mirchi powder rubbed on it. Gonna try this way though ![]()

I love eating corn off the cob too but my dental implants dont let me do so
I roast them on the cob and then shred them off the cob and then eat it. I miss biting directly into apples and guavas too ![]()

I never had corn with cheese this way...I am a typical desi when it comes to corn...roast it and then eat it with nice lemon-salt-chat masala-mirchi powder rubbed on it. Gonna try this way though :)
You will love it. Mix it with some sour cream or mayo, lemon juice, cheese, chili powder, and if you have chipotle seasoning it takes it to another level. You can substitute chipotle for ancho chili powder or even a little smoked paprika, or just omit.

Khatti, I discovered Elote just a year ago and OMG I have been in love ever since!
There's a really cute Mexican bakery near my house that makes it but they don't make it on the cob. They slice off the corn and then add the mirch and cheese and jane kya kya.
Its positively yum.
