Delicious! I love to eat pakoras, BUT I still can't get figure out how to make them.
What do you mean? They are so easy. Besan, baking soda, salt, chili, water, deep fry.

its not as easy as it sounds :( i often struggle with the ratio of besan/water, and it NEVER comes out looking like the ones in samads picture :(

Ingredients are not the problem, it is the ratio and the frying process for me. I've thrown out many pakora mixtures over the years as I can't get the pakoras right. Either hard as rock, or uncooked inside, or they disintegrate as soon as a spoonful hits the oil. I've had my family and friends stand with me while trying to make pakoras, and we've come to the conclusion that I fail in the pakora dept.

Dal Makhani take 2…I mashed/ghotafied and thinned it out some more…I think this is the correct consistency now
