Aaj kya pakaaya/khaaya

Bhagaray baingan, biryani, chicken qorma, seekh kebab & chicken tikka at a family dawat last night :yummy:

Attempts at eating clean!! Fried bhindi, lentil soup with kale and tomato and sautéed fish, with mix greens with feta and salad.

Sarah I am a novice cook… I followed this recipe for zeera chicken http://www.fauziaskitchenfun.com/jeera-cumin-chicken-with-white-rice/
As for the qorma.. fry onions, grind it and make a paste with yogurt.. Fry chicken in the same oil on the high heat.. add the paste and throw in all the masalas… bhoonofy it till the oil separates.. and just let it simmer till its cooked thoroughly.

sure:)

Boil half kg boned chicken in 4kgs water with a tsp salt n half tsp black pepper
saperate the chicken n shred it when cool

now add 1 cup jolian cut capsicum,1 cup peas,1 cup grated carrots,1 onion chunks,1 cup grated cabbage in the stock n let it cook on low flame

meanwhile add 1tsp suger,half cup soya sauce,2tsp chines salt.1tsp table salt ,adjusting the taste to ur choice.

now add shredded chicken and when veges are soft add 1 cup corn flour mixed in stock ,stiring the soup.
in the end add 1 tbsp olive oil

guess what… I just came to know that to make chicken Manchorian from 2 Kg boneless chicken you need extra 2-kg chicken for soup for the recipe :cb:

also then I came to know a little about recipe…

so we need double the chicken, ajinomoto, vinegar, baking powder, half kg ketchup (1/4 per kilo chicken) etc.
