I bbq’d last night (first time firing up the grille this summer!!)

Barbecue Chicken (Southern Style, thank you Paula Deen!!), Desi Beef Boti Kebab, Sliced Avocado, Garlic Bread & Elote (Mexican Street Cart Style grilled corn..after the corn comes off the grill, slather it in a chipotle mayonnaise, roll it in cojita cheese crumbles and squeeze on lime juice :yummy:)

I love kaalay channay…especially the way my mom makes them. When I was a kid I had asked her how come the curry is a darker brown than other salans. And she told me it was made from mud :vivo:.

Sure! It is super easy and simple.

Blend together 3 garlic cloves, 2-3 red serrano peppers (3 if you want it on the hot side), 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup of water plus 1/2 tbs of salt.

Boil the blended mixture for 2-3 minutes, meanwhile mix 1 tbs corn starch in some cold water. Add the corn starch+water mixture and heat until it is the consistency you want......and you are done!
