i want to find the name of the mitai as well as it recipe, but i cant post pic or link so can any1 go to wedding section n click on gift packing and then go on 2 page, the picture was uploaded on july 27th 2009 by some1 name starting with m... that pic is the 9th one it was decorated in A type, its yellow n white mithai

Buttercream Icing
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening (we us Crisco)
* 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
* 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (approximately 1 lb.)
* 2 tablespoons milk
Makes: About 3 cups of icing
instructions
(Medium Consistency)
In large bowl, cream shortening and butter with electric mixer. Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. When all sugar has been mixed in, icing will appear dry. Add milk and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy. Keep bowl covered with a damp cloth until ready to use.

Cheesecake
Texture wise, it was fine.
Taste-wise, I think i added too much sweet n low and vanilla extract. ![]()

premade graham cracker crust, 2 c sour cream, 16 ounces whipped cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar (or splenda/sweetnlow) (i used 1/2 cup but it was way too sweet for me, so it can be reduced to a quarter or third cup), 1 tbsp butter to brush the crust, 3 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla xtract

place in oven (crust should be pre-baked for 10 minutes at 375) and cook at 475 for 15 minutes, then drop the temperature to 400 and bake for another 30 minutes
Once baked, turn off the oven and let it cool down gradually in the oven…take it out after 10 minutes, and its recommended to set in fridge overnight. (I placed it in the freezer for about 2 hours and it was pretty set)

for pie:
1and half cups plain flour these are measuring cups
2 tea spoon caster sugar and add some almonds like 3-4 grind the sugar and almonds togeter makin a fine powder.
pinch salt
half cup mealted butter or u can use vegetable oil
2 table spoon cold milk
and u need cold water jus add drops u have to bind the dough when its formed wrap in cling and refrigerate for an hour.
FILLING.
one can condense milk just boil the tin in hot water for 5 hours on slow heat dont let the water down make sure the pan is filled with water every time till 5 hours.
toffee caramel is made.
now take out the dough and sprinkle some cornflour on the table and roll in with a pin in circle grease the pie dish speard it equaly prik with fork the pie crust heat up ur oven at 180 degree make sure u turn on the oven ver before like 15 min.
put the pie crust for bake for 0-25 min jus make sure tat u keep an eye that it dont get burn out…![]()
uill notice the sides of the crust turnig brown and its down turn off the oven but let it stand in the oven for some time .after take it out leave for good 15 min then trun in out of the pie dish and pour the made caramel half can .
for chocolate souce mix the cooking chocolate with cream when the chocolate melts.
mix then pour on the caramel add craem topping and make the design with fork.there u goooooo…
