I made banana bundt cake yest, using a recipe by Dorie Greenspan (book is called Baking) and that is the best anything i have ever baked with bananas. The result was a very soft, banana cake. HEre is a link to the recipe online.

I think the only part you messed up with is - you are suppose slice the brown part out from the bread. (not criticizing - I’m just thinking)

What is the best heat setting for frying the jamuns? Our stoves are electric and i am trying to figure out what it means when you say low heat. Mine either get browned very quickly OR the heat is so low, they take forever to brown and then get all crusty.

What type of cream do u use in making gulab jamuns, is it ok to use half n half or any other version plz suggest.

I have a gas stove...I turn the heat full and I add the jamuns once the oil is hot...they would turn slightly golden right away...that's when u turn the heat down...say if its 1-6 on your knob, then around 3-4...and you are deep frying them, rite?....Hope this helps...
I have always used full cream so I have no idea how it could turn with half n half...
half n half wud be too runny and I don't think it wud work.. full/thick cream works well!

first boil aloo,then cutthem into pieces…add crushed pepper,salt,coriandar powder,pinch of haldi ,
heat oil add 1 small onion and zeera ,dont brown onion ,just cook till color is changed..and then add all aloo., and bhoon for 5 min,use wooden spoon,garnish with green chicli and hara dhania,and serve,enjoy
