A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Sister,

This Jannat rumour is the mullah tactics to keep people away from communicating with ahmadis. I love the moment when a non-ahmadi visits Rabwah to investigate and finds no hoors or paradise there. The look on their face is of shame and surprise.

I think this Sahiwal Jannat should be visited by your Auntie. Tell her to bring me some apples (which will be the size of a water melon) from there.

In the west Sunni/Wahabi mosques take care not to deliver fiery Jihadi sermons. (A necessary Taqiyyah they have to do), but I do not find a single famous Sunni or Wahabi scholar who can say "lets stop fighting the west and be good muslims first". The real teachings of mainstream theologians are in their books. Maudoodi is all for a bloddy revolution, Dr. Israar is waiting for a WW3 any day now, Shiah are preparing for the final Jihad (As Ahmedi-Najjad explains), Wahabis have the best expections about the glorious final conflict.
Why should I shoulder responsibility for actions of Hammas or Hizb or Muhajiroon or Jama'a Islamiah when I vehemently oppose them on all levels?
I dont know where are the moderate muslims who speak out against stoning women and apostates. Where are the moderate muslims who chose to write rebuttals to the shameless danish caricature rather than condoning riots and destruction of public property?

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

for all I care, ahmedis can believe in Santa Claus and it won't make any difference.. judge people by their actions..

We have a radio show which is basically funded by a Tahaffuz-e-Nabuwwat group.. how they're gonna 'protect' Nabuwwat is beyond the scope of this discussion but they did get a caller who stated that why should we even spend our energies trying to kick people out of Islam.. The biggest blight on Islam is not Ahmedis or their beliefs but people who are bombing each others places of worship!

You don't see Ahmedis blowing themself up and taking hundreds of innocents with them.. No one wants to remove these extremist sects out of Islam.. but everyone has enough time to sit and bash Ahmedis..

Anyway.. questions answered. Mods please close this thread.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Hareem do you know the names of these books which are written by ex-british soilders? I would like to take a look at these books. Thanks!

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Fact remains the same Destino, you guys really seperate yourself from others when ISLAM in general is attacked or questioned.

You are talking about Ahmadis being more peace loving etc, Buddhism is considered the religion of PEACE by many, would you rather associate yourself with them or MUSLIMS who supposendly have groups like Hamas, Hizb etc??????

You can claim that you respect prophet Mohammad a lot and you consider them last prophet but it really shows your priorities when an Ahmadi won't even know when 12 Rabiul Awal is but even Mirza Tahir's birthday is celebrated with much more respect :) ( I am not bull $hitting here, know from personal experience).

I know there is currently a huge Ahmadi gathering of some sort in Sydeny these days where your HEAD is coming as well. it's being celebrated more than any EID, Shab e baraat or any other islamic event :) (tell me if i am wrong)

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Don’t tell white lies. Ahmadis never celeberated the birthday of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad. Laant-ul-Allah he alal Kaazebeen.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

:hehe: … too confused are we?

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

First of all, Ahmadis around the world organize a monthly meeting called “Sirat-un-Nabi (saw)” where the entire focus of the meeting is AnHazoor (saw) sirat. This has been going on since the beginning of the jama’at. The promised Messiah (as) started another tradition called the ‘Religious Founders Day” back in those days when India was the battleground of religions where people can come and talk about their founders and Ahmadis talk about AnHazoor (saw). Since 9/11 the new born Muslims have followed the same tradition .. calling it the interfaith symposium.

Second of all, I don’t even know when Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad was born, in fact I don’t even know exactly when Hazrat Promised Messiah was born. Though I am sure if I do some research I can find out. So, to actually claim that Ahmadis celebrate his birthday and then insisting on it shows utter lack of morals and no sense of discussion.

Lastly Ahmadis celebrate the arrival of the Khalifa in their respective towns or countries as per the tradition of early people of Madina who celebrated AnHazoor (saw) arrival. And not to mix the two, the person coming is not celebrated; it is the institution of Khilafat that is celebrated.

^^ Umm yeah, and this annual meeting is called a "Jalsa Salana". You can attend one in Sydney to find out more facts.

Anyways, this thread has been answered and the person who asked the questions seems satisfied with the answers.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

I was invited to one once in Maple Ontario and I saw pictures of it in the paper once. I dont know his name but the khalifa as you call him looked like a celebrity walking down the streets waving at ppl and holding flowers.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

He is a honorable person in the eyes of Ahmadis and so if he visits a country and his community wish to celebrate his arrival, what is so wrong with that ?

People celebrate each others arrival to a new country all over the world.
^^ Anyways, what exactly is it that you are trying to say ?

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Why are u ready to bite my head off? I never said their was something wrong with it. I just thought it was interesting thats all.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Actions speak louder than words, i know exactly how much an average Ahmadi givers respect to Prophet Mohammad PBUH as compared to Mirza Ahmad or Tahir etc. (Refer to my example about what Hazrat Isa and Prophet Muhammad PBUH).
I do watch Ahamdiyya tv sometimes out of interest and it's MOSTLY about your own prophets and their khalifas (Not saying it's all about them though)

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Well I dont know about that mysterious guy. I have heard tons of nazams that are about Prophet Muhammad PBUH by ahmadies but yes they do also give a lot of importance to their khalifas, but Ismailis do the same? Well they go a little over board in my opinion.

Well i just mentioned that because you might think i am just an ignorant person having cheap shots at Ahmadis, i know quite a few Ahmadis personally and i know the REAL jalsa starts on Monday.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

LOL jeez you seem like you know it all. Well since you do, what exactly happens at Jalsa? I thought it was just like this gathering where they give lectures and so on...

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

I didn't say that they don't mention prophet Mohammad PBUH, there are Nazams about Prophet Mohammad for sure.
You have to accept that they do go over the board about their khalifas, when they claim that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed is not a prophet but a promissed Messiah then where does the Khalifas come from??????? Do you think real Khalifas get as much mention as Mirza Tahir and co?????

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

Jeeeez hehehe I didnt say I dont agree. Yes I do think that they over do it a bit with the khalifas but I thought Mirza Ghulam Ahmed did claim prophethood and it was said somewhere in here in this thread because the door to prohpethood is supposedly still open. Anywhooz, as I was saying although they give importance to Prophet Muhammad PBUH they value their khalifas very much. The other day I was talking about the same issue with an Ahmadie and he said to me that the current khalifa, I dont know his name, said that today we prevent ahmadies from going to Saudi for hajj but one day they will have control of the kabah and the masjid. I was like HAIN? where did you get this idea from? He looked at me with this look like im an idiot and it should be so freaking obvious to me, he was like SADIA???? hazoor said it. I was like oh well who told him this and again the same look and he was like SADIA???? Allah told him this. I didnt really ask further but apparently he receives messages from God all the time since he is chosen Allah ke kamon ke liye. Please dont snap at me about this since I have only been told this and I am just sharing my experinces.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

First of all i am a new user but i have read some of the posts here and it seems that ppl take these arguments personally and a sort of war develops where each party is trying to win. I would humbly request you to ask questions and to read answers for the purpose of clarification of misunderstandings.

The Ahmadiyya belief is not made up by any person, it is based on a verse of the holy quran. For reference see [sura Al-Nisa, verse 70]. In this verse Allah says "And whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger shall be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings--the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And an excellent company are they." From this verse it is clear that followers of he Holy Prophet (saw) can be Prophets. I am a new user so can not put a url in my post, but you can visit the official Ahmadiyya website for a short commetry on this verse.
Furthermore the Promised Messiah said that there MIGHT be other prophets but they would have to be under the banner of our Prophet (SAW) AND they would have to prove their prophethood from the Quran and the hadees as he himself did.

As for the question of new sects, what choice do the followers of a new prophet have? The fundamental question is why does a prophet come in the first place? It is to reform ppl. Now when a prophet tries to do this God given duty, he and his followers are persecuted and the ppl around them don't want to include them in the broader community around them. As a result they are forced to become a community of their own. So the division is by the opponents of the prophets.

Ahmadis believe they are muslims but the rest of the muslims deny them the right to call themselves muslims. In the beginning of this jamat there was no name given to it by the Promised Messiah. The opponents however started calling them Qadyanis and forbade them from entering their mosques and advised their followers to have no relations with Ahmadis. This continued for at least 10 years. It could be more but i m not sure about it. Now you tell me wot were Ahmadis suppose to do if not to call themselves a community IN ISLAM.

Your premise is wrong that their are going to be NUMEROUS prophets. The Promised Messiah never said this. Wot he said was that he cannot close the door of prophethood under the master Prophet Mohammad (saw) because Allah Himself didn't close this door.

Your claim that there should have been more prophets after Promised Messiah is wrong again. We can not take somthing in our hands that Allah hasn't given us permission to. Allah says that it is Him alone who makes prophets. So it is up to him to decide when there is need for another prophet. We can not set a timeframe for the advent of any prophet.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

I did not read all the posts before i posted my last response so i missed this. I am glad that you found the answer.

Re: A Question for members of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

There you go......they even want to control the kabah, they talk about recieving messages from Allah and they will still say that Mirza Ahmed never claimed that he is prophet but he actualy is a promisde Messiah. Forget him, even his khalifas are recieving messages from Allah :)

My friend's aunt married a muslim (non-ahmadi) and she is suffering really badly, none of her family members meet her, no one is allowed to even speak to her little kids because in their own wordings " they wanna teach her a lesson so never ever anyone in their family will dare to marry a non ahmadi MUSLIM.

Now, doesn't it mean that they do NOT consider us muslims?????
