A question for ladies specifically.
Would you marry someone who lacks proper education?
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
I wouldnt. Education is a must for me. Degree of education is not as important as the quality of it is. So he may only have done mba/masters but it better be done from good institutes. That is very important for me.
I know good institutes don't necessairly mean every graduate of theirs must be well educated but the chances are quite good :). And with it comes the grooming, awareness and overall confidence boost.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
no. and that includes parhey likhey jahil types. gotta be careful of those.

MBA/masters is only? I guess I'm screwed.
PS You're right about the institutes, this is especially applicable to Pakistan, you can't really pass off your MBA from the gully/muhalla college as a degree these days.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
yes...jst coz they would have degrees does not mean that they are very "good" ppl!
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
Education helps create personality and I think it is a great plus in a possible rishta.
However, it would depend on why he doesn't have a proper education. If he flunked out because he was lazy or got into drugs and such it would be a big turn off. If it was because his father passed away and he needed to take care of his mother and siblings its possible.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
If he's good looking as well as rich and independent and confident in speech then why shouldn't they!
Re: A question for ladies specifically…
That’s all that matters though isn’t it?![]()
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
Some parents emotionally end up blackmailing their daughters into marrying into the family from back home. then later on realize the mistake. Some girls go along with it some say no way because it's a person's whole life not just a couple of days.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
Education was and never will be important. You are not going to use degree from Harvard in Kitchen, Washroom, Bedroom, going out, dining, raising children & running business.
Do save yourself from parhey-likhey-jahil, they are in high quantity these days, just meet one other day.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
Education is important but so is the person holding the degree.
Ive seen men (look at EDAL) who hold US degrees but bear the views of a primate. Ive learned over the years that its not just that piece of paper that gives a man the *samaj *he needs to provide for his family. Yes, a degree definitely helps. No doubt about that. However, he needs to be smart, capable and resourceful...with or without it.
You've got to really break a person down and see them for who they are...in my personal opinion. Habits, views, ideology, temperament, personality, sense of humor, etc.
I dont want to be looked as a ticket to America so I dont want to look at a guy based on how much education he has or his earning potential.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
usually people only specialize in their respective chosen fields and they forget to apply them in their personal lives. they only reserve their so-called education for earning good money. so it varies from person to person.

No.

But do desi chicks put out for their significant others? I think not so they deserve all the jahils!!!
Re: A question for ladies specifically...

Re: A question for ladies specifically…
Hm. Usually, I dont respond to posts like these but I have to say something.
Do you think the overpopulation of India and Pakistan is a result of desi chicks not putting out? Or the testosterone overdrive of desi boys?
