Education was and never will be important. You are not going to use degree from Harvard in Kitchen, Washroom, Bedroom, going out, dining, raising children & running business.
Do save yourself from parhey-likhey-jahil, they are in high quantity these days, just meet one other day.

Re: A question for ladies specifically…
^ That was his point man, you don’t need education to be a successful man. ![]()

Re: A question for ladies specifically...
A question for ladies specifically. Would you marry someone who lacks proper education?
Ofcourse not. It's not only marrying someone with a degree but education has such a positive affect on everyone's life/attitude/thinking. So without a proper education its very rare to have a complete personality.
Re: A question for ladies specifically…
I don’t think that the feministic ideas presented in this thread nor do the posters live in Pakistan. Do you?
PS You can put out enough but still don’t have two dozen kids. If that was the only criterion, then the more promiscuous societies in the west would be more populated.
Re: A question for ladies specifically…
No. When I say rich I mean it. It’s not difficult to be a good provider, even a taxi driver can be a good provider.
PS: I didn’t mean it to be inherently rich either, that’s why I said “rich and independent”.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
Education isn't everything. Hard work and the determination to be successful is what I would like to see.
Re: A question for ladies specifically...
i can compromise on education, but cant compromise on his manners and social status

And what is wrong with a taxi driver being a good provider.

He's working class.

Nothing. It's not about just "providing good", there are other things to be considered as well like his social status and circle of his friends etc. Also, being a taxi driver means you'll have less chances of breaking out your class barrier and less chances of growing your business unless you drove a taxi in past and now you own a credible business of your own.

Yep totally agree- I know people who have a great education but are not the type of people you want to marry. As long as they can provide their share in a marriage- whatever job/education that should be the main thing.

Exactly , you will come across may folks in Chicago, New Jersey , New York. Who drove taxi while they were student and for a while after that and now they are very successful folks.

Yeah but I'm talking about a person who's not formally educated and now drives a taxi for a living. Being a part-time student is different.
