It pisses me off when I meet people who have “Pakistan-mein-hamarey-paas-yeh-tha” attitude. I mean COME ON! First of all you are not in Pakistan anymore, and second of all it doesn’t matter what you had in Pakistan, talk about what you have here in the US. You don’t even have a freaking car, let alone the fact that you now live in a tiny apt. with other roommates and have no nokar chaakar. Some people need a reality slap. Have you ever met people with such attitude?

I would rather not mention it as it may offend some people, although there really isn’t to get offended about, but we have some sick-double-minded people here, so forget it

So, have you ever met such people abroad who want to have an impression/pressure on you based on what they are/were in Pakistan? How do you react?

Dushi jee, that's the problem. These two example were not missing home. They are simply trying to live in past glory. It's like those people who live in the US and say US sucks and their home country is great. What I say to them is: What the hell are you doing in the US then, go back to your country if it's that great. Jiss thaali mein khaana, ussi mein cheenkna!

Natalia when mods talk to you from an official stand point, you have to agree with them, especially me because I am neither Phatima nor Sheen :)
