Thanks to Pakistan team, I’ve greatly lost interest in cricket. I wasted my entire weekend staying up watching the game and they ended up losing so pathetically!

inzi is a shareef insaan a real bhole badhshah don't pick on him guys plz. offering constructive criticism will help but not when it is mixed with personal taunts.
english is his 2nd lingo it's not surprising to see inzi struggle. let's remember he was selcted to represent pak as a top batsmen not becoz he had a doctorate in angraizi.
pcb should though think seriously about hiring a basic english teacher for these guys, with growing media coverage, inzi and the other lads will have to learn, so they can adapt to this universal lingo.
- for those who have been watching the games recently, must have seen a improvement in his english, atleast i think there is a vast improvement in every interveiw he conducts.

How many people in this thread dissing Inzi for his English can actually speak proper fluent Urdu? I know atleast two who can't.
Stop blasting Inzi for what he can't do and what he certainly doesnt need to do. Half of sportsmen around the world dont speak english. When theyre interviewed they speak in their own language which is then translated to english through an interpreter. Cricket should hire interpreters too. Ever watched the olympics anybody?
Appreciate Inzamam for what he is. He is a brilliant batsman with an amazing attitude. All of you haters in this thread cant even dream to be where he is right now.. even with your superior English skills.

True. Just because he plays for an international sport doesn't mean he HAS to be able to speak proper english. Soccer is hundred times more popular than cricket and more than half the international soccer players can't speak english either. Most indian players speak english because for many of them, it is their first language. Most of south indians can't even speak a word of hindi. Thus they have to resort with english. No shame in being not able to speak englsih as fluently as them.

Give him a break. He is not there as a speaker or “representative” of Pakistan but leader of Pakistani cricket players. Heck even Pakistan’s leader shouldn’t be evaluated on English speaking skills.

As far as I am concerned, I dont care whether a player/captain can speak English fluently.
I just dont like them attempting to speak English when clearly they can't. They should not and they don't need to...its not part of their job requirements.
If the commentators have a problem, they should get a translator.I remember Wasim Akram translating for Saqlain in the post-match interview when Saqlain got the Man-of-the-match award in New Zealand.
Also, It is not as if Shastri cannot speak Hindi/Urdu...I remember him interviewing Rashid Latif in Hindi/urdu once after a match in Bangladesh.

Having said the above....I do wonder sometimes how Inzi and most of the Pak team communicate with their coach(Woolmer) on a continual basis.

Its not important that how well he can speak English.. but the slow dhagga cant even speak urdu properly!! he is a great batsman but a dumb leader.. communication within or with team members is very important in cricket..

True. they come and play in UK for 6 months and their English is still the same....
The chase gals here rather than improvin their English and game..
