5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

drinks on, the ground staff are clearing up a few areas of the pitch. There may not be much remedy for the lack of bounce, though. Springs need to be embedded below.

^^ Isnt this an undue advantage to the aussies?

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

what do u mean by that? how will we be set for 280+?

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Zimbabwe I thought was a test-playing nation. I know they have chosen not to compete in tests for a while but this record was made when they were playing test cricket

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Would you be saying the same thing if Aussies were batting.

This is the problem with Indian grounds. The rich dads at BCCI should spend money on creating lively/sporty picthes rather than showering players like Joginder Sharma with Crores.

That is why I hate World Cups or any major tournament played in the sub-continent.

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

If we get to 100 in 20 overs for 5 wickets, I promise we are going to score 280.

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

amazing batting from sachin...absolutely beautiful

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Ofcourse not :). But just think about it, will Australia be ever 33/4 in 7 overs against India?

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

Why are India struggling so badly today? Has the pitch got something in it or is it just one of those days when nothing goes right for your team? Were both LBWs correct decisions and who actually gave them ? Lee and Bracken are certainly not unplayable. I had a look at Johnson during twenty-20 and he did n't look anything special. I am surprised that he has been causing India so much grief during this series. Hogg is ok. Don't know much about Hopes.

Any thoughts

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007

well i think its a combination of the things you mentioned: ganguly got run out in first over, then dravid missed a ball and got caught in front of stumps next ball. Momentum Australia. After that some bad shots and good bowling + the pitch that has not been keeping even. Middle order got exposed to the swing too early today...
