No score below 400 would be safe. Come to think of it, the South Africans once chased down 434…so make that 500

By the way, The average ODI score at Vadodra is 280

India’s tail is pretty long with 4 specialist (non-batsmen) bowlers : Zaheer, RP Singh, Harbhajan and Murali.

In ODI you are supposed to stuff your side with utility players, not fill it with barely-above-ordinary specialist bowlers esp on a dead track.

In the last match, this did not hurt India …let us see what happens here.

Since the wicket has nothng for the bowlers, I guess the batsmen had to find other ways to get out.

*Saalooon ne meraa record kharaab kar diyaa.....*Until this point,I had 100% success record with opening threads that resulted in either India's victory or Pakistani defeats.

btw, the long tail will haunt India today as I mentioned above. It should be a crime to have 4 not-so-great bowlers who cannot bat in an ODI.

After this, we have only one specialist batsman - Uthappa.
After that we have Dhoni and Pathan.
And then we are into Harbhajans and R P Singhs.

So my Hindustani friends - Its 3-1 Australia.

so forget 500, i think 240 is a very competitive score
lets see what tendulkar does today

Forget about 240, I hope we survive 50 overs.
