Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007
yeah obviously we are down, but if you look on the positive, pitch is crumbling pretty fast, and i think one** umpire is indian** ;) maybe zaheer can get a hattrick :)
Yeah one of the umpires name is sahiba. But he gave uthappa out on a doubtful LBW. Anyways, India like to fight back in the series; it's all as per the plan.

I guess this match will be over in less time than a 20-20. Which is the shortest ever 50 overs ODI?

Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007
So, ladies and gentlemen...among the test playing nations - Pakistan has the lowest ODI score record.
Isn't that something to cheer about on this very depressing day.

Nah, Tendulkar is looking good. I have a feeling he'll make a century today.

And I was thinking you intentionally omitted England (with a lower score than Pakistan) to just play with our Pakistani friends here.

I am not against him, he is a good player and I want him in the team if he keeps on performing the way he has done in the last few odis. But on the other hand, he gets much more credit than the other players and that is what I dont like about him.

hahaha, my thoughts exactly.
Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007
I read a trivia the other day on Cricinfo which says that the highest share of runs by a single batsman off the team total is around 60-65% which happened in the 1st ever test match. Let's see if Tendulkar can create the record for ODIs (dont know the odi stats though)
Re: 5th ODI - India v Australia Vadodra, 11th October 2007
India 57/5 (13.0 ov)
7 overs and 43 runs more without losing a wicket and we are all set for a 280+ score.
