Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
none of the ladies in my family wear hijab/burqa.
i think its a personal thing and personal choice and most importantly your intentions should be clean and clear first.
Wht abt the rights of the ppl living in those countries belonging tot different cultures n nationalities?

. Nobdy is mocking dude..
They chose to live in those countries when they have an option to leave with dignity. It's their country their rules, don't like the rules, can't follow them, simply leave. If we are not okay with women wearing a 2 piece in our countries, why do we want our rights to how we dress in their countries then?
That doesnt really even make sense. So every time you dislike a law you up and move countries? Wouldnt it be more logical to stay and fight?
Which country has laws that you agree with them all? Do you move everytime you find something you disagree with? Cause that must be a heck of a lot of moving on your part.
4Sept Hijab Day!

Try fighting the government when they cane you for not wearing a Burqa in Saudi Arabia or Iran.

It's just that some people do slander women who don't wear the Hijab or don't dress a particular way.

Just like some people slander women who do cover up, or do dress a particular way.
It is a two way road.

What about the muslim goris? Where should they move to? as it is their own country where their forefathers have been living for ages.
And third generation children of immigrants. They are born in those countries too and see it as their own country.
What about them?
Try fighting the government when they cane you for not wearing a Burqa in Saudi Arabia or Iran.
And thats exactly what they are doing, challenging the law of driving for example; instead of running away.
If thats the principle you live you will be moving a lot of countries and settling no where, because there will always be something or another you dont agree with.

I concede. That's sound logic, not that the people who move for any reason are any less. But the stronger ones stay back despite having options. Didn't the french ban the face veil. What's the hu ha all about, the face isn't even a women's satar. Have they banned head scarves too. now that'd be outrageous.
Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
4th September or any other day, if you are wearing hijab, you should wear it with pure heart.
4Sept Hijab Day!
You dont need a pure heart to wear hijab, its for everyone regardless. And i think one day where all women regardless of their background don it in solidarity against the oppression hijabis are facing at the moment would be a great idea. Its ironic that those claiming hijab as a symbol of oppression go on then to oppress them themselves.

Perhaps, but the option to shift countries is not even an option for the majority of people. I understand if your fleeing as a refugee or seeking asylum, because your life is in danger; but even then you are being forced beyond your will.
Ive heard the argument 'well if you dont like it; go to another country' many times and its usually followed by complaints of 'too many foreigners in the country as it is.'...to which you tell them then to follow their own moral principle and leave the country. They dont seem too happy about that though.
