Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
I'm afraid of the fact that things like this hijab and niqab day will cause more intolerance in countries like Pakistan. We all know the history of Saudi uniform for women, right? Another bad example is Iran.

Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
See, I don't have an issue with people wearing hijab, its a great thing, good for them, but whats with the hoo haa? You wear a hijab because you think its a fard, well so is namaz, should be have a namaz day?
I mention leaving the country because regardless of them stating they are secular, you very well know they aren't, you very wel know you are a low minority. Why not go somewhere that you can practice your beliefs openly? Why are you forcing yourself upon a community that does not wish to accept your beliefs. As someone said, Saudia enforces hijab, great option to go live there. Do you fnd it wrong that hijab is enforced as law? No, because its Islam that is a majority there so You want the best for the majority. It annoys me when we the muslims give absolutely no rights to minorities in our own countries, yet we want rights for ourselves in other countries.
As for goris that are born there, I'm sure if they truly care more for Hijab and beliefs more than people, than leaving a state that does not respect her beliefs would be a lesser of an issue.
Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
It's easier to wear hijab in desi/arab areas in West....I actually prefer wearing it in those areas because I get treated with respect. But in non-desi areas it's totally the opposite.
Re: 4Sept Hijab Day!
Perhaps, but the option to shift countries is not even an option for the majority of people. I understand if your fleeing as a refugee or seeking asylum, because your life is in danger; but even then you are being forced beyond your will.
Ive heard the argument 'well if you dont like it; go to another country' many times and its usually followed by complaints of 'too many foreigners in the country as it is.'...to which you tell them then to follow their own moral principle and leave the country. They dont seem too happy about that though.
Telling someone to leave is just absurd.
