Did my day 8 exercise yesterday and my right leg really has started to play up again :(

Still going to do it again tonight, girls i prefer weighing myself every month instead as i dont have any scales at home (plus dont trust them!)

i have to go to boots and sometimes im sooo busy with house stuff and kids i dont get a chance :(

you girls keep it up though :)

i am really happy at 63 :blush: thank ALLAH but mu ideal weight is 58 … i started JM shred excercise routine in june when i was 67 i did for 16 days then got some internal injury my dr said NOT to do this kind of excercise so i m not doing it anymore instead i chose to walk skipping and yoga.. just push urself girls u’l get the results INSHALLAH …

ok todays iftar : 1 glass rooh afza with milk,1 orrange and a bowl of chickpeas later had half plate of haleem and a cup of green tea

I suggest we keep this going even after the 40 days or after Eid. I am hoping more people will join ... I say keep doing it at least for another 2 months. Its not just about losing weight, but also about being fit.

Started with 77.2 kg

now....75.7kg

(I fell ill and couldn't do any work out and couldn't stick to the diet properly otherwise could've lost more...hope next few weeks go well)

Agree we can continue the challenge for another 40 days, I will be in Pakistan for a couple pf weeks so won't be able to post regularly but really keen to continue on

Xjatti2khanX - Please don't exert yourself so much that you damage a ligament which will stop you from exercising for a longer term and maybe try and focus on the food as well ..

Appleblossom .. I went for a checkup with my nurse and she has advised me to get down to 63Kg so that is my first target, well down on your diet you're really going for it

Update from me - Weight 67.5 kg this morning

Last night
Iftar - 3 Kajoor, Lentil Soup , Wilted Spinach and a small portion of Rice
Bad stuff afterwards was half a bowl of cereal and a handful of crisps

Sehri .. I had nothing and tonight I need to behave myself and have fruit only

confucious well done for getting to 67 and inshallah you continue losing weight i know its an amazing feeling seeing the results of your commitment and refrainment ..... tonight for iftar went to a fancy restaurant for a seafood platter .... mainly oysters, lobster, salmon and i did eat the battered fillet too ... didnt have any chips or bread ...

I think you hit the nail on the head.. I've noticed that if I eat protein and stay away from the carbs, I feel satisfied but not bloated and it feels like the food gets digested easily as well

Oh I didn't know you were married. That's a short trip. Enjoy your trip and don't worry about posting. We'll be around I am sure when you get back! You have week or so before you leave anyway.

orange sliced,

coconut chicken and steamed brocolli

small piece of lamb meat

cube of chocolate

for everyone following the high protein diet you wil find you get slightly constipated after a week so ensure you drink water and have insoluble fibres to assist .

Hey guys! I know I'm not a regular poster in this thread but I think its great what you guys are doing, supporting one another and giving eachother valuable advice. I'm posting cuz I kind of need to vent. I've been working out for an hour every day for the last two weeks( JM metabolism boost) and I'm starting to feel more toned and slightly better about myself but I've really been struggling with my diet the past few days especially because of Ramadan. Yesterday I literally binged on ice cream. I normally don't allow myself to eat it and then my dad brought some home and I ate like half the box. I've been having more and more instances like this where I eat well for a few days and then just totally binge. I hate when it happens because normally I'm pretty disciplined but then I lose control. I hate it so much because I feel like all my hard work is going to waste from working. Does anyone have any advice?
