Just an update on moi..
Friday was naughty .. had my shwarma and then went home to family to have rice and lamb curry.. I’ve been staying with family friends who are non pakistani as it is close to my workplace in London and there diet constitutes of very healthy rice based dishes with no spices at all and this has been my diet for the past 3 weeks so I had a shock to the stomach going home to all those pakistani spices.. Had the most horrible stomach pains you could think of
Well Saturday, I kept a roza and opened it with chappal kebab (protein) , Mango (a few spoonfuls) and half a chapatti with spinach and chicken ..was quite healthy and then nothing else for evening oh and I went to t he gym and ran on the treadmill for a whole hour.. :woohoo:
Sunday, Started with 2 slices of wholemeal toast and a half fried egg and went down hill with a fillet burger (mcD’s) / fries and M&M’s
I don’t know what came into me , I felt so so yuck afterwards
I have been reading up about intermittent fasting (so basically something similar to what we do during Ramadan, where you fast for a length of time and then a condensed window where you can eat healthy foods to get back the calories you didn’t have earlier..
Lots of benefits to it as long as you don’t over indulge
I am lucky this year as where I am staying, they are uber healthy and I definitely know there won’t be Pakora’s , Samosa’s or the like dueing Ramadan so am keen to use the opportunity to lose weight and hopefully no issues in goign for a run just before iftar
Today
B: None (Did a 16hr fast) so from 9pm last night to 1pm today)
L: Went to Curves for half an hour
L: Kettles crisps
and 1 banana, 2 nectarines, 1 Apricot and a packet of bean thread noodles (which are around 150 cals max and low GI )
Snks: Green Tea & 1 coffee
Strong when it came to refraining from the biscuits in a workshop
I can feel a difference in my stomach area from the curves and so want to weigh in at Curves but the supervisor doesn’t like it when I weigh myself, so need to sneak it in when she’s occupied elsewhere..
I have also set up a countdown timer on my desktop to count minutes, hours, days to when I see hubby ..
Currently it’s ticking away at 1 month 6 days 13 hours 
I can see my weight target at 132lbs .. 21.4 pounds to go..
Ps.. Hav subscribed to the thread so motivation will be seeing your messages on my blackberry to know there are others in the same boat
