So since yesterday was the first day of fasting I decided to give myself a treat and have some pakoras. Also we went to an iftar party yesterday and that's basically the only thing they had. That's why I don't like iftar parties lol, they always mess up my diet. Today I didn't have iftar though, I had dates and had scrambled eggs and toast for dinner. ( I was really craving it for some reason!) I'm probably going to have some cereal for sehri.

yesterdays routine
sehri: 1bowl oats poridge and 2 dates.
iftar : loads and loads of water melon and 1 roll and half bowl chickpea chat.
excercise : 45 mins walking 210 times skipping and some yoga i didt only an hr of excercise yesterday bz while doing skipping i started feelin pain in my lower abdomen :(
todays sehri:2 apples,1 bowl of yogurt and 2 glases of water

I worked out for an hour today but after that I started to get a really bad pain in my lower abdomen as well so I stopped. I hope I do an hour consistently every day from now on!

Hey everyone,
You're all doing well. we're probably going to stumble the first few days in fasting with hunger pangs and iftar parties. I am lucky as won't be invited to any Iftar parties as I work away from home and the family I live with don't fast due to medical reasons and I have asked them not to make anything special for me
So yesterday I did my half hour curves and ran for half an hour (2miles maximum need to run more) and Iftar was 3 dates and water, yoghurt and a plate of veg with some rice
Aunt Flo has arrived so won't be officially fasting but am trying to not eat for the next few days
This morning one cup of coffee and a glass of lemon water :)

hello confi great workout rouitne ...ur iftar is perfectly balanced but try to have more on sehri it will giv you more energy through out the day .. if u u having coffe at sehri have a piece of brown bread with light spread of margarine or have boil eggs without yolk,make chicken and veg sandwich it will really make you feel full all day u'll feel more energized and will be able to do more excersise..
strawberry milk shake is really good too use skimmed milk,brown sugar/honey and some fresh strawberries

You know what is really good to eat for a healthy iftar option
Chana Chaat (with no oil) , you know the one with yoghurt and a little potato, chickpeas and cucumber..
Replace you're meal with that

I haven't been to curves yet, inshALLAH going after wok and then straight into a run as soon as I get home
I slyly took a big glass of Fresh Juice , I think Orange, Apple and Ginger.. It has stopped me craving any food, inshALLAH will continue to behave myself :)

hey girls, it was day 5 of exercise yesterday - i feel soooo good after iv done the shred dvd :)
confucius how is the shred routine going for you?
was good yesterday for sehri had ready oats and tea - didnt feel hungry at all :)
and for iftari had one date, 1 and half roti with chicken curry and just one samosa!! :)

I have gained back some control. Yesterday was ok. I had scrambled eggs and toast in breakfast. I had Chinese in the evening. I would say I had about 1000 calories. I worked out for an hour and a half. I am hungry right now.lol

I had wayyyyyy too many dates yesterday. They're so good but they're pretty high in calories. I need to work on limiting my consumption lol!

I started level 2 of JM's '6 packs in 6 weeks' and I have to say it is one of THE HARDEST workouts I've ever done. Saw good results in the past month after doing 3 weeks of level 1 and hope to see more by the end of level 2. I am almost back to my pre pregnancy weight. Wohoo!
Level 2 has left me so sore it's not even funny. But I feel great. :D

I forced myself to workout for 45 mins... intensely. I need to get back on track too. Need to lose another 10 lb this month. I'll be back to my pre pregnancy weight too then but I need to lose a lot more after that. I wasn't the fittest person when I got pregnant.. sucks!
JM seems so much harder to do now for some reason. I enjoy working out at the gym more. I did a month of JM last year and did end up losing some weight but honestly its no fun :(

I just did a JM work out too and it sucked. It was my second day doing her metabolism boost work out and it is no fun :( I just hate that its so long and she does each exercise twice. I need to find a new work out video, preferably one thats not an hour long lol.

yesterdays sehri was:2 apples and a bowl of yogurt
iftar: again LOTS of watermelons,1 roll & tasted only 3tbsp of macroni thats it! easily ignored other thngs :hinna: and not excercised yesterday.
it is time of the month for me as well,so no fasting for 5-6days and i dont excercise these days.
last night i was in severe pain i was about to faint and felt like my BP is really really down and i was not even able to call my ammi.I usually feel this thing during these days. when i woke up today ALHUMDULILAH i was feelin a bit better i wanted to have a power breakfast so that i could drive and work all day
breakfast: 1glass milk added 1tbsp of tukh malanga (sweet basil seeds), 1 apple and 1 shami kabab sandwich i added 3 leaves of spinach and some shredded cabbage in it to make it healthy and filling.feeling better ALHUMDULILAH ![]()
