Butt and Umer done for good, I was saying before that if our openers do not come through we would be in big trouble. It is impossible to win a series when you openers are giving away wickets. There have been zero improvement and it seems only right to dumb both of them, exposing your middle order so early in the inngs only calls for a collapse. I mean there is so much they can do. Not even 30 over had gone by and Kamran and Faisal were on the crease, they are not suitable for playing so early in the inngs.

inzi and younis are good enough to do that and win it from here....my only concern is that wicket will do a bit more now and pak has a long tail

Maybe they should start batting order should be in reverse, send in the tail first, surely they won't be much worse than the openers.

At this stage, not likely but it certainly won't need a miracle either. If they stay at the wicket till tea, or till we have 250 on the board, we can assess the situation again.
They only need to take us within 30-40 runs within the target before either one of them loses a wicket. And then we can hope the remaining batsmen to work with tail to get another 30/40. But at this time, we need to survive the session without getting overly defensive, which is what they are doing at this time.
