Geraint Jones fractures his finger. The only English batsman who hasn't plundered Pakistan. Yet.

Imran Farhat fractures his finger. No doubt the replacement opener will fail just as spectucularly but at least he may hold on to a catch.

Since 1980 only 3 out of 23 matches played here have been drawn.Pakistan has won only 1 out of 8 matches they have played here.

^ Pakistan have some good memories and some bad memories associated with Leeds. It's here where we won the only test match in 1987 and eventually won the test series 1-0.
Later in 1992 Pakistan lost the game after some pathetic umpiring from the worst ever English umpiring combo of Palmer and Kitchen. Kitchen specially was famous for his pathetic umpiring. As a result of some extremely controversial umpiring in the Leeds test, England won and was able to level the series 1-1. However English could not counter the 2 W's in the final test. Obviously the 2 W's needed some assistance from the 2 fair umpires around, Dickie Bird and Shepherd.
