3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

our stupid openers better match Harmison's score!!! 2 sixes and 2 4s already!

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

481-8
Harmison is playing like a genuine batsman.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

partnership of 42 off 28 balls :k:

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

^^ lol yes before lunch

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

again the decison in favour of the batsman

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

We have the worst bowling attack among all the test playing nations...england tailenders have scored more than what most of our genuine batsman will make.

I'll be shocked if we don't lose this Test within 4 days.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

I am shocked and numb, never have I in the 40 years that I have been watching Pakistan’s team seen such pathetic and spineless display. :nook:

Worse to come in the shape of Butt and Taufeeq opening the innigs. :frowning:

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Easy man. We do not have the worst bowling attack even in its current depleted state. We did get many England wickets, that weren't counted offficially you know. And the same happened in the first match also. This is very good performance in the absence of 3 of our strike bowlers. Just before lunch on day one of the first match, commentators were praising (after we had gotten 3 quick wickets) that how much bench strength we had that we had put England under pressure even without our main bowlers. Unfortunately dropped catches ruined the opportunity to keep them under pressure, and later on, our openers never let us in a position where we could bowl at England from a strong position.

I think our bowlers have done great to get 15 England wickets in just 4 sessions (yes, that's how many wickets we have gotten unofficially). Let's hope we can get the next two wickets quickly and our batsmen can match England's effort.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

^We will not get all ten wickets in this entire series, and you say we have good bench strength? lol, thats hilarious. I won't be surprised if are forced to follow on by the close of play even with our so called strong batting line-up.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

It's okay. I know that you have a very pessimistic reputation here, so I shouldn't let your frustration make uslose hope too :) I hope our team can do something special to cheer you up.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Is that how old you are? I am 28 and felt old on this forum. Glad to see that there are elders around :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

we must get the last wicket before England decides to declare. I wouldn't put it beyond England to declare anytime now just to rub in that we couldn't get them out even once.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

England crosses 500 yet again and we are being hammered by Harmisson and mahmood. This same pitch will become unplayable when hijras like Butt and Taufeeq come out to bat.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Man, English players are having time of their life. Even Monty is playing our bowlers comfertably. un-frikin-believable.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Gul gets his 5th wicket

*Mubarakaan, Pakistan has finally bowled England out for once. *

Eng 515 all out.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

I sincerely hope that Butt proves me wrong with a century today. Go Butt try and bat today, you might find it an enjoyable experience.

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

Butt and Taufeeq walking out to open the innings. Allah Kahir karay

Re: 3rd Test - Eng vs Pak - Leeds, 4th-8th Aug.

I am the biggest critic of Taufeeq this world will ever see, but I wish him well and hope that he makes the most out of this opportunity and shares a century opening stand with Salman Butt.
