Especially with his renewed action, skill and lack of fear of pitching the ball up on a more consistent basis. Same thoughts as you on Pathan. Ever since he has worked on his bowling action, it has provided results in generating an extra yard or two of pace. Mid 130's as oppose to late 120's/early 130's.

^Yes, a 3rd wicket (that of Symonds) would have boosted his confidence even further. Tendulkar is usually a good slip catcher though.

I would have to say that India have performed in Australia much better than I had expected them to...but are clearly short on luck on this tour.

Still following the game....
Asad Rauf almost did a Bucknor there.....Indians kept appealing until Asad Rauf raised his finger...at one time it looked like Rauf was not inclined to give Symonds out.
