So Folks since no one bothered to opened the thread i’m at it again
Hopefully things have calmed down since the SCG Horror-show … especially Umpire-wise
So here the Timings:
Hours of play (local): 10.30am start, Lunch 12.30-1.10pm, Tea 3.10-3.30pm, Close 5.30pm
02:30 GMT
18:30 Pacific (Previous Day, 15th Jan.)
19:30 MT (Previous Day, 15th Jan.)
20:30 CST (Previous Day, 15th Jan.)
21:30 EST (Previous Day, 15th Jan.)
03:30 CET (Central European Time)
07:30 PST
08:00 IST
Looks like Aussies will go in with 4 quicks and Hogg probably missing out … reports r that the Pitch has Pace and Bounce like the old WACA Pitch had once
So Selection dilemma for India … i for one think India should go for Ishant, Irfan + Sehwag and take out Jaffar and Yuvraj (both completly out of form) … the series is gone anyway so time to take some risks
Re: 3rd Test: Australia vs. India at Perth (WACA) Jan. 16-20, 2008
pata nahi kyon lagta hai ki India jeetegi ye match :D.
Believe me if this happens i'll be the first one to distribute MITHAI among my friends (a lot of them Indians and also some SL-Tamil who root for India) :)

Who is to be blamed for their 'our of sort' performance? If India had made better pitches for Pak series, perhaps they would have been better prepared for this series.
WACA for sure is not for flat track bullies. Watch Sehwag and Dhoni fail miserably.
Re: 3rd Test: Australia vs. India at Perth (WACA) Jan. 16-20, 2008
hahaha funny appeal - after all thats happened, aussies suddenly realize, maybe we should not appeal for this
Boos from the crowd, we'll have none of that. Australia were quite reticent about going up for that appeal, mind 13.6 Clark to Jaffer, no run, crashes into the arm guard and cannons up and over to where leg-slip would be, Gilchrist harries round and takes a great catch on the forward slide, away from his body, but to no avail
Re: 3rd Test: Australia vs. India at Perth (WACA) Jan. 16-20, 2008
tendu out. bad decision by rauf. ball was clearly going over the stumps.
Lee to Tendulkar, OUT, this time Lee gets his man, as he pitches on a short length and gets Tendulkar back in the crease, playing down the wrong line and copping it very, very high on top of the pad, and at the time of contact he was in the air ... umpire Rauf takes his time to give it out ... replays show it was indeed high and going over the top of off stump ... another of those marginal calls and Tendulkar shakes his head as he walks off
SR Tendulkar lbw b Lee 71 (129b 9x4 0x6) SR: 55.03
Re: 3rd Test: Australia vs. India at Perth (WACA) Jan. 16-20, 2008
And this time it is Asad Rauf who gives Tendulkar wrongly LBW (and unless he plans to do the same thing to Ricky Ponting - it will not "even things out" in my book)
How many more wrong LBWs do we have to live with before ICC decides to do something about it.
Makes me sometimes consider quitting following Cricket....

its never batsman's fault. Blame it on Al-Qaida.
Seriously, Indian bros need to understand umpires are human, even when India is playing. I lost count how many times Inzi was wrongly given out.

Making it up for something?
lol yes rauf had to make up for the good umpiring otherwise he would make his colleague bucknor look really bad ;)
it was a bad decision imo especially where it hit sachin and how he was in there plus the bounce but will take rauf over mr bucknor anyday
but these things happen
i think that appeal system is perfect, because you can get rid of some decisions that might have been due to the lack of concentration by umpire as they are humans too and not have a drastic effect on the game
