Gut reaction felt it was well within the stumps. However, first innings dismissal of Jacques was very similar, only that the ball was going down the leg side and slightly clipped the leg stump. Similar decision, although they both were and should have been given in favor of the bowler.

72 runs for 1 wicket, at the end it was Australia's session
interesting session tho umpiring was off

The earlier we get Hussey out, the better.
He seems to have a very good plan going for himself :
Leave every ball outside off
Defend every ball that is straight on to the stumps
Only if the ball is short or on the pads, whack it for runs

Irfan is becoming predictable. He should bring one back into Hussey.
Sharma's spell to Ponting may turn out to be the key moment of the game unless Hussey takes Aussies home. The wicket is helping quite a bit..line and length..making the batsman play every ball should be the strategy for Indian bowlers.

The weird thing is that batting has been difficult...and the bowling has been generally good....but the wickets have not been falling.
And Asad Rauf gives a NO BALL for no reason at all. There was no way Kumble had over-stepped.

his back leg was bent and it hit him just above the pad...dicey but Rauf has given marginal height lbw's...at least he is consistently marginal!
