I had a great experience to be honest. i don't like a lot of make -up and she basically accentuated my features. I looked like myself and not a different face altogether. :) I was also her student and i saw several gorgeous brides getting ready infront of me so i trust her completely.
Thing is Anam will do your make up exactly like you want to- so if you don’t like the end result, there is no point complaining.
I have seen brides ask for nude lips when every inch of my being was screaming, go for red- go for red. It will suit your dress.
I suggest that you should go visit her and discuss on your complexion and your desired look. If there is particular foundation you like, tell her about it.
I did not take her services and only got my make-up done so I can’t comment on those. I’d suggest get services (like facial, waxing etc.) done from someplace cheaper and just use the MUA for your make up. Saves money.
I have been recommending Anam to everyone who asks me.
Else, Bina Khan is great but she charges too much. Cistres is another salon whose work I like. :)
Hey.. I am too looking forward to get my makeup done from ANAM.. have read 50/50 reviews about her makeup... I have seen a bride(my friend) who got her both days makeup from anam.. but that wasn't upto the expectations which I built watching her fb brides pics.. :( how was your experience at ANAM?? Need honest reply coz I'm toooooo much worried regarding MUA. ( anyother option except anam?? As i dont want want to spend 25-35k for 1 night makeup.. :/ )
That's really supportive of you :) I agree to the point that Anam really listen to the bride, as my friend's makeup base on barat day was completely flawless & glowy but she herself asked anam to put extra layers of foundation on her valima day ( I dunno why :/ ) But m extremely concerned about eye-makeup. does her eye-makeup turned out to b great as in her pics or are they just too much edited???
thnks komal .. yes i packed all my clutchs and bags :) and my unsitched suits also packed ..but i didnt start embrdy suits thats why im taking advice and i also thinking for gotta work :)
Oh yes, some of those pictures were taken infront of me when I was doing her make up course. I doubt there is any photo shop done. She has a dslr which captures everything. The eyes are really as pretty as they look. :)

Date was just set, Inshallah August 2013! Venue is booked, making my way with the rest. Out of curiosity, how much are the ladies within the US budgeting for their shaadi lengha? I'm wanting to spend around 500 USD, but seeing how others are buying theirs for 60,000 PKR, I'm starting to get worried.

Its best to call them... I had to wait months for them to get back. - which they didn't!
In my opinion, I wouldn’t go for the nath on d mehndi. As traditionally a mehndi ceremony is supposed to be very simple and natural. Yet beautiful. Where as a nath gives you more of a bridal look which is more suitable for a baraat or reception party.

that is true. Even in Karachi, the good venues are booked till December 2013. So if anybody is in Karachi, boook foraannnnnn.
She is super good. And now she also has an assistant who is equally good.
