I think mine is coming from the MIL's side :S She hasn't asked me to pick or even discussed colours/choices so........ :O
But for the rest of it even, I don't know where to start? Surely I should be looking for venues and budgeting instead of just sitting at home and chilling?!

Just getting a general feel of whats out there n whats available right now. GS wedding forum is a great place to start! Like I know my wedding's gonna be in Lahore in March 2013, and my parents have a general idea of how many guests they want to invite, so that helps form a budget and then you can look for reviews of venues, MUA and clothes etc here. But I think I will only start finalizing stuff closer to August (i.e. 6months before the wedding). Right now Im just narrowing down what I like and dont like. That can really help nuclearreceptor :)

Mine is going to be in the US. My challenge is figuring out what to wear on the Mehndi and Wedding and how to buy it from here without getting ripped off. I am interested in HSY and Sana Safinaz but open to other options as well. What are you guys looking at so far? My research is really limited to the internet so I need ideas! 
Also wouldn’t mind wearing something like this but don’t know who’d make it:

Wooo! I think I'll be getting married around April 2013! In the UK. I'm thinking of designing my own wedding lengha and just sending the design over there to be made by someone, seeing as getting one from here is so expensive and so is travelling to pakistan. But other than what I want to wear and look like, no planning what so ever. :)

Me most probably both a 2012 and 2013 bride, getting married in around Sep 2012 in Homeland and then in Feb 2013 in Pakistan, on my birthday.
Of course with the same guy! :D

Wake up 2013 brides! How's everyone's preps going?? I suppose there's still ages yet... But I'm going to Pak next month Inshallah to choose the venues for the wedding, as next yr I'm going to go for the wedding just around a month before and I've been told April is a busy time for weddings so I need to choose my venue well in advance if I want the best one :) soo excited already!! So what are u girls up to? Any progress...
