I've made a list in a notepad, on the first page i have the to-do list for everything, and then on each page i have the details. E.g. on one page my bridal dress, on one invitations, one for the menus, one for the mehndi dress, one for my families dresses, one for the make up artists and so on. that way its easy to compare, and note down important points about everything. If you try to remember everything not only there's a chance you might forget something, but you also feel more worried that you might forget it, so writing everything down will help you get organized and relaxed too inshaAllah.
On the back side of the same notepad i started a list for the jahez, all the small items. and I made a list of all my dresses, as I get them stitched, or decide how Im going to design and style them I write down in front of them in detail how I want that dress to be, so that I know how many dresses are there, and I dont end up replicating the same styles and designs and totally missing out on some. Its almost like seeing the wardrobe on paper :D plus when i start to get imitation jewelries/ bangles, shoes and clutches/bags etc I will note down in front of the dresses so that, again, I dont end up getting two or more shoes/bags that go with one dress and forget about some others. I've also made a list of cosmetics and other small items, and I keep noting down things when they pop in my mind. If you're going to shop from different places, (I'll be going shopping to karachi inshaAllah and some things my mom's bringing from abroad) make separate lists for what you want to get from where. Basically just write down everything that comes to your mind in an orderly manner so that you dont forget or feel that everything is getting jumbled in your mind :) you can make a list in excel, or use some sort of mobile app if you dont want to hand-write everything.
