just i went to pakistan last month to choose wedding dress there + mehendi...which finaly i dont know my in-laws ordered it or not........
i saw halls there also but i dont know which they will book...one was shiraz hall a new modern one that was too big & their guest isnt that much as im not pakistani so there is no relative from our side...
also peshawar club we saw for open area...still between these 2 we stuck...
i liked shiraz as well but i like open area also....cuz my both nikah & wedding in my own country was in march-april which is too cold here for outing wedding!
so in my own country i only saw hall!
nothing yettttttttttttttt done
so i think im the latest bride than all of u ....lol

So i’m having a hugee dilemma lol
my nikah will inshallah take place in july (a week or 2 before ramzan inshallah)
but the thing is we r leavin to pakistan in the first week of july and have just 2 or 3 days for the nikah -_-
now i’m gettin nervous for my nikah dress ( i want it to be great even if its just nikah 
)
does someone know where in rawalpindi i can get a elegant dress and have it stiched soon?

I think you shud give the order for ur nikah dress before july & if you dont have anyone in rawalpindi like khala wagira, Den you shud go for ready-made outfits, which are not so good plus at times they are a bit pricey than kaam wale. hmphh... I am from karachi so cant really advice you on things/shoppin from rawalpindi

i dont know abt my dress yet...
i was in pakistan for shopping but as it wasnt in pakistani culture that bride choose all by her :P so still i dont know wat will be...lol
apart from jokes i realy dont know wat i ordered...they took me to some shops & i made myself mad to explain i dont want a repeated design in my dress..i mean not to be same design copied in all dress repeatedly...
rather than that i didnt feel much diffrence! nor border was making diffrent sence for me....
just i asked it will follow a floral design...
my ami janam said fashion is long shirt! so as great bahoooooooooooo i said ok as u say...LOL
rather if it was my own country mom-in-law she would never had right to give opinion...
but realy in end of day that i went shopping with my sis-in-law(wife of brother in law) i didnt get wat we r going to order!
just i know my walima dress will be blue! & o my God be4 i was thinking it will be red so i arranged my own country dress up matched with blue as its white so i could set with all colors so my jewl was ordered in blue rubby as i was thinking pakistan will be RED & now here matching color is dark blue & pakistan dress is blue!!!!

Don’t know if this will be much help, but if you only have 3 days, maybe better to buy something from here before you go. Although, even in 3 days, you will find something. From expereince, anywhere in Pak that has a decent bazaar, you will be able to find something appropriate, but it will be pricey (maybe they can see the desparation on our faces lol). Rawalpindi, is it muree road perhaps? Don’t know what the road is called, but where Mohsin & Sons is located, there are lots of ready made shops there too which are meant to be really good. @nidask @starberrythanks ladies :) i dont think am goin with a ready made, just the fact i want it to be perfect, think will give my sizes to my khalaas in pakistan, n the color combos i like incluidin the design

Im going to Lahore, but some of my jewelry is coming from Peshawer with my khala (who is going to come to Lahore to see us). We are originally from Peshawer, but my moms family lives in Lahore. But since Im still peshawari at heart, I had to have the traditional Peshawari Kharay, and those are only made in Peshawer. but everything else Im getting done in Lahore. I cant wait!
