I got the link. Thanks :k: Wonderful job once again :k:
Yaar, as someone said above, we should have a comedy drama too! But I think that would really need a clear and pure Urdu accent and a pure style to crack people up. Otherwise, anything romantic would do too ;-)…:D. So, pick me if you wanna do something romantic ![]()
Like, take a short scene or scripts from novels waghera or short stories.
Sheeda Surtaal can do the punjabi part :D
What about you A........S........N??? Isn't your Punjabi fluent?

Finally got some days off, taking opportunity to reply some of the best threads of 2004.
On this Quaid e Azam day, 5abi and Irem, A big hand to you and all participants.
Have to start off by saying, I really enjoyed, was moved by the idea, amount of time, energy and efforts you and your team members
Armughal -monasha - cHEeGUm - Code_Red - Destinee - proudpakistani007 - ravage-Shikra -Anonymous Guppan, contributed.
When I first heard about it, I really didn't expect much at all what 5abi you were planning to do, and happily surprised later on by the quality of the script, the great acting and especially the amount of time anticipated by all, Well done 5abi, We are proud of you!
Let me tell you, the drama link was forwarded to some friends, actually industry professionals, most were speechless, amazed and praised and graded 10 on its scale,
Irem, 5abi and all team members, Apna Karachi FM aired parts of this drama, during last week of August. All participants were praised on their performance.
Others replied as …
This was a distinctive style of presentation. 14 August Drama served the needs of producing audio radio drama very well…. By Imran Siddique Mutual Productions.
The ambient feel of the Independence environment created with sense of motivational movement, highly effective sound mixing, makes a memorable experience for a listener…. Iftikhar Jamil…. Geo Productions Pakistan.
Clearly demonstrates the dramatic possibilities of the binaural art...It's a striking recording, being an amateur… Zafar Bhai, Producer/ Director PTV Karachi.
The production is so much pure drama as heavily dramatized narration, and theme is excellent! …. Atif Ahmed, Producer Apna Karachi FM.
5abi, Irem and all team members, I once again congratulate you and will look forward for a second episode of this in 2005.
Pakistan Zindabad.
Regards,
YKKB.
Indeed 5abi, Irem, and all the team members worked really hard on it. Good Job everyone and Congratz :k:

Thats great :)
Considering the limited resources (human and material) and bieng an ameture effort, it was really well done. Hats of to 5abi, Irem and team for their efforts :Salute:
It was a unique idea, to make drama while all the participants are living in different parts of world.
The drama got positive response from here (gupistan). I thought it was mostly to encourage and appreciate the efforts. But critical analysis from professionals in the field is something which carries more substance. The appreciation will work as motivation to do similar efforts in future.
YKKB this is a really great honor for our whole team that you got the chance to hear the drama in detail and forward the link to industry professionals who gave such encouraging responses. Thanks very much :) If you get a chance to communicate with them, please convey our gratitude and regards to them. We are really humbled. You're right that everyone really worked hard and gave it their best and with the help of Allah all of you liked it :)
