NOT AT ALL..
all i am saying is that i m LOST too as to who should i support or who should i turn to..
nobody is doing wat his/her role is...and the more this situation continues the more ppl of pakistan will suffer and they are already suffering so much..
reli dont see any silver lining in these clouds :(
The people of Pakistan now now this is not a judicial drama, but a political one. It will be sorted by the politcians and not the courts.
you cant do blame displacement like that, nobody caused the trigger to go off on the guns except those who ordered it. I dont care if the CJ was doing a naked bhangra NOTHING can displace the blame from those who did the violence (MQM) and those who facilitated it (MQM run govt).
Not a single person was killed during the 27 hours that CJ took to travel from Islamabad to Lahore. The only violent incidents that happened were probably baton-charging of police at protesters at certain places. Here the CJ has not even come out of the airport and violence has gripped the city (15 killed so far according to reports).

In March a policeman was brutally beaten, almost to the point of death by Ch.Iftikhar supporters.
Later on his supporters thrashed journalists in Karachi.
Then there are his wukla colleagues beating others who don't support their position.
Silly Billy,
I mentioned in my post that not a sinlge person was killed during the 27 hours CJ rally wheras 18 people have been killed in Karachi in no time, and you have given examples of lawyers beating other lawyers/police. There is no co-relation between what I said and the examples you are giving. What's the corelation between beatings/scuffles in the last 2 months (without deaths taking place) and 18 people getting killed in a matter of hours in Karachi?
There have been violent incidents from both sides since the protests strated 2 months back. Lawyers and Police have both been guilty of violence, but nothing to the extent of what happened today!
Lawyers were brutally beaten in Lahore High Court premises in March. And recently police thrashed lawyers mrecilessly in Sahiwal. 42 lawyers were hurt, out of which 8 were admitted to ICU. One of the lawyers sustained life-threatening injuries.
MMA MNA Maulana Asadullah was hurt when a stone hot his head during the gathering outside SC on May 5. The same day protesters were brutally beaten up for bringing a water tanker into the area.
There are many more examples of police brutality in the last 2 months, if you care to find out.
But nothing compares to what happened today. Today MQM made sure that a blood-bath happens, they prepared for it, and they got it.
All what MQM wanted was to make sure that CJ does not adress the rally. When the journalists of GEO, ARY and AAJ kept on asking Ishratul-Ibad, Haider Rizvi and Aleem Siddique they just kept on saying that CJ shud eave Karachi.
as i said it wouldve been 90 percent MQM 10 percent whatever opposition there is. I am from Karachi, every karachi wala knows at this point who is responsible for triggering and sustaining the violence.

Janey na Janey Gul hi Na janey
Bagh tu sara janey hai
I maybe a less reasoning being, but when ARY talked to other citizens, prominent ones at that, like Anwar Maqsood, Talat Hussain (Actor) and Faisal Qureshi, they all said things to the effect that when the CJ knew how tantrum throwing MQM can be, and when peace, lives and property was at risk due to a clash, he should have reasoned well for the sake of the country, the city, the lost lives and delayed his arrival. I agree with them. The CJ could have decided better knowing how the MQM is...and knowing how other parties will play catalyst. Atleast someone should act responsibly, at least to save lives if nothing else...and in that regard the CJ was blamed by these three personalities as well...
MQM announced that its rally will happen the same day as CJ's. They did this AFTER CJ's date was announced, and CJ is to be blamed for the violence? A party which is part of the government was hell-bent on violence and got it. PML-Q MNAs, who should have been in the fore-front trying to stop MQM from getting into a clash, were actually seen on TV justifying through some twisted logic that MQM's step of taking out rallies on the same day was the correct one. Instead of taking the onus upon itself to ensure law & order, the government actually made sure that violence occurs.
If MQM is tantrum throwing then it is up to PML-Q and Musharraf to stop it from getting violent. It is the government's responsibility to ensure that one of their partners does not set Karachi on fire (especially when that partner had made its intentions known openly by declaring its rallies on May 12). Did Musharraf request MQM to delay/cancel its rally? Or did he actually provoke MQM to take this step so that the lawyers'/CJ's struggle could be discredited?
Yes CJ should have known better that nothing except violence can be expected from a party like MQM. Musharraf has been taking care of other "tantrum-throwing" entities in totally different ways in NWFP and Baluchistan, so lets see him condemn MQM at least verbally for what has happened today. But I doubt that he will.
MQM is a terrorist party with two terrorist fugitives Imran Farooq and Altaf Hussain hiding like cowards in London and pulling the strings. The killings in Karachi are all instigated by the MQM.. You should not forget that Musharaff is also a Mohajir and very close to the MQM...... the MQM decided to 'promote Musharaffs' cause by deliberately looking for a fight when they found out the CJ was coming to Karachi.
Besides the fact that innocent people have lost their lives (not counting the MQM terrorists who were also killed) - the other sad thing about today is that it brings back the mistakes of the past...in the 90's the former IG of Sindh Agha Saddat Ali Shah launched a crackdown on these MQM terrorists and took out a lot of them...this is around the time that Altaf Hussain ran like a coward to London, anyway Agha Saddat wasnt allowed to finish the job and Karachi is still paying for that today....
I hear Farooq Sattar's home was under fire too. We know how the MQM is, but look at what the others are doing now too. All are acting the same. The other parties in opposition riding the CJ surf are also embracing the way of the gun...
In all likelihood, it could be the party members themselves involved in all such sabotage activities attacking their own people just to prove themselves victim in the eyes of the world.
