After reading a spicy discussion over me, I have came to realize my own characteristics that I tend to share my happiness with everybody without realizing that they might not be happy for me and sadness can be shared with only few people. If I am privileged then I should not discuss it openly because I might have made disadvantaged people feel inferior by bragging about the good part of my life which was never my intentions.
I am a hyper personality and I gotta calm down.
I am very close to a cousin of mine since childhood. Since then and up and until recently she would often tell me about the good things that happened in her life...except she overdid it....and it was often about her looks and compliments/attention she'd receive. It's fine to express confidence or to praise yourself and your abilities once in a while....but it was happening like on a weekly basis...and that's too much. It made conversations less enjoyable because they seemed redundant. When I talked to her ...she admitted she was unaware of how she was being perceived and that she doesn't do it from a place of contempt for others. She said that she gets really excited and feels like sharing with others, but realized she had been overdoing it and has since toned it down.
If others don't share as much or as openly as you, it doesn't have to mean that they're disadvantaged or feel inferior....nor should you assume that.
