went with least expectations but a really well made movie and loved it throughly!!! Farhan Akhtar stole the show. Awesome performance by all though. Katrina too
wish they could make genuinely good movies like this instead of imran hashmi stuffâŚ
A time-pass movie... somewhat better than all the slapstick loud comedies these days but nothing spectacular.
***SPOILER ALERT:
The movie tries too hard to coerce the viewer to chime in with the âseize the dayâ philosophy by trying to convince you that an adrenaline rush is the only way to feel alive or playing ridiculing antics on strangers is "fun".
The positives were Farhan Akhtar's acting (he's improving with every movie), and Abhay Deol is pretty good too. Hrithink seemed out of place for this role.
These people are concentrating on the look, the techenical aspects of the movies these days...but there is no story at all in any film...just put in fake barbie looking heroines and cool locations in the background and promote the film on the way the girls dress bikinis etc...and you have collections for the first week and baad ki baad mein dekhi jayeh gi...but they don't realize that there are movies like stanley ka dabba, taare zameen pay etc that are low budget films yet they're really good because of the kind of stories they have...stanley ka dabba might not have been watched by a lot of people but thats because it didn't have a star while same kind of great story got a nudge by amirs appearance...so what wrong with making films that have a good star cast and a good story?
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara takes the light-hearted tone of a fun, all-boys road trip through Spain to give you a deep and heartfelt message on why we should live life by seizing the moment and following our hearts. What makes Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara that much more enjoyable are the performances. But a quibble I have with this film is that it takes too long to reach its destination and gets sidetracked by a couple of sentimental detours. It lingers too long in certain scenarios, and this sucks some of the fun out of the ride. Yet, Iâm going with three-and-a-half out of five for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
It was a good movie. I was just in love with the fiance (girl). My instructor was telling us how he recently ârentedâ an Indian movie shot in Spain. I wonder HOW, since it is not even on DVD
