Was constantly checking Dishcricket web site and they just posted that
Does that mean end of PPV blackmailing??? I am still keeping my fingers crossed.
Its say that Zee sports channel will be broadcasting India Australia series plus other matches :dhimpak:
from what I've seen here in Canada, there may be three or four channels claiming to be "the" source for Cricket matches... but for the big tournaments, the service providers will still opt for PPV. Besides, each series may still be broadcast on different channels.
I've learnt to live with switching between various desi channels which get broadcast rights for different series - and then cancel the channels as soon as the series is over. It's definitely a hassle, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
They are showing the first match free. The channel will be free till Sept. 29th than you will have to subscribe it.
Seems like this something like cricketplus.
I saw Pak vs India, Pak vs SL and Eng vs Aus (1977) match on zee sports.
No way you can compare it with cricket plus. Zee sports America are going to show alot of live matches whereas cricketplus does npt show any live matches at all.
Some 1, Right now zee sports America is showing both India/Australia and Pakistan/South Africa.

Has anyone been watching this channel? They have been showing live SA/Pakistan Test matches and some old matches as well.
Anyone know how much the channel costs?
Yes, most of us have. Not only Pak-Saafies series but also India-Australia. They were also showing recording of 1st ODI between Srilanka and england. If there is no time clash they will be showing all these matches live, otherwise Ind-Australia.
If I am not mistaken it will be for $19.99 starting from tomorrow.
By the way, I merged your thread with an already existing one.
If one has paid a lum sum amount for dishnetwork and doesn't pay for it on a monthly basis will the zee sports still be availabe post oct. 3?
(Just a hypothetical question)
If you are not paying monthly, you don't have dish network-not by legal means anyway. Who did you pay the lump sum amoun to? A local guy who unscrambled the signals for you? You will probbaly get Zee Sports free with everything else that you get free. ;)
