iam sooooooooooooooooooo disaapointed today and i just want to warn other friends who have seen zarichannel.com and trying to order dress from them.
let me tell you.i ordered my dress on june 6 and they told me they will deliver it by 25 june as i had to attend a wedding outside usa on july 5.i waited waited finally on july 5 i e mailed them to check but no replies.finally i got a reply on july 2 that mr jaffar, who is supposed to be dealing with this will e mail me the tracking number.but no e mail nothing came.finally my husband called them and noone knew abt such a thing and my husband had to shout at them and finally some one came and told they will email me abt the dress status.they cud not speak english properly nor they understood it,as my mother tongue is not urdu i cud not speak urdu.in their web site they have written 24/7 service which is anthr fraud advt.
finally i got a reply saying that the dress is not ready and they can send the dress to the wedding place.hahahhahaa forget that… such irresposnsible ppl.but i had to leave for the wedding and i thght the dress be at home by this time means after 2 weeks as they told they will courier the dress within 2 days.i didnt see any dress nor any e mail regadng this.
finally we asked refund for the moneywe paid.and we got an expalantion that as i asked for pure silk jamavar, they made a mistake and made in raw silk and so the delay and now dress is ready and now they are sending.and finally almost 2 months today dress came
i was utterly disappointed.the jamavar they sent is u know wot…the local cotton silk material which we get anywhwre for 12 rs to 20 per metre and no lining nothing and the duppatta is a polystere silk uterly cheap material.i was so shocked by this and i dnt know wot to do now.after so much of head aches, hard times, phone calls such a disaster and see how ppl fool ppl with out any ethics.iam not at all exaggerating this si the truth.now its a lesson for me as well as ppl whjo trust this mail of mine.

Rosevilla, you should have made sure first that company you are ordering deals in genuine products.
easiet way is product images, you would notice all of these kinds of sites dont have more than one image of the product and on many products not a complete one as you would notice either shalwar would be missing or not complete product shown.
many people cant resist the images as they are taken from magazine and there is no way you would get exact products.
i the end i would differ with your end argument that says not to trust any internet site.
there are loads of sites that deal in genuine products and most probably wont disappoint you atleast i can assure you for ours. list below contains our competitors also.

I'm having a really bad experience with zari channel as well... i wish i saw this thread before i ordered. I looked at the old thread where somebody said they had a good experience so i went ahead and ordered from them. I ordered 3 dresses from them on the 7th of june and i was told "they would be at my DOORSTEP within 15-20 days". So i waited for 20 days and then i emailed them they never replied and then i emailed again after couple of days and this time i somehow received a reply or should i say a "lie":

Well MAM your dress is being sitched and I hope we shall be able to
despatch it by next week through DHL

So, i waited for about 10 days and by now it had already been a month since i placed the order and i emailed them to ask about the status and i did not receive any reply and then i emailed them again after a week this time asking for a refund and finally got this lame ass email stating that they had already shipped my outfits but unluckily their shipment is being held by FDA department because of some mehndi issue or god knows wut and the matter will be resolved in 3 days. So now im waiting for a reply again as it has already been 3 days but i doubt i will receive any mail soon or even ever receive my outfits. Before i paid for the outfits they used to reply within hours and after i paid them its like my mails don't even get to them. I am so disappointed and i feel like an idiot for ordering something from a pakistani website....these people just fool us just because they know we too far away from them to do anything about it.
did they provide you any tracking numbers to track via web, as even if it had been held by FDA or any body they should have still provided with the tracking code so that you may see for yourself.
i must say they havent shipped it yet.
based on our experience normally less 1% of our parcels are held by US/Uk customs but it is so rare and in many cases customers are contacted by DHL or us before even they know it.
i dont know why people simply dont accept that they messed up it would save them and customer so much time and annoyances.

Frankly speaking prices they are offering they would have hard time even providing half the quality of the type they are showing onsite.
online businesses are very easy to start but really hard to sustain,customer acquistion cost is too high in our case sometimes goes in 100’s$ , you made one mistake and all is gone, after all time it takes for a customer is just to type few www’s and he/she is with the competitor.
also they are based in faisalabad and i seriouly doubt they wouldhave capability to arrange people who can do certain embroidery stitches finely as many designs in their collection require specially in bridals as in karachi or lahore they are not easier to be found either.

I would be careful ordering from desis too, I have had bad experience too and they sewed something completely different than what I asked for! Goshhh ic ant emember the name of the place but it was a long time back, i think i asked for flarred pants and they made sharara, sigh go figure!
Hey guys i FINALLY got my ouftis or shud i say peice of crap!! and guess wut i ordered 3 outfits n i only received 2. Both are nothing that i told them to make....they look nothing like the pix and da kaam on it is soo cheap, its that old paindu golden ****....the outfits i wanted had silver work on them they totally switched it to gold on their own and completely changed the style and everything and made it look horrific. For the other outfit they made pants instead of shalwar n dupatta has no kaam on it like in the pic n size is way off n its plain ugly also. They both so ugly that im never going to wear them and i never received the third one that i really wanted and no money back or no apologies or nothin n no replies to my emails. Me so disappointed:( i wonder if there is a way to sue these retards!! so guys NEVER BUY DESI CLOTHES ONLINE OR ATLEAST FROM THEM!!!
