Former premier Benazir Bhutto’s husband, Asif Ali Zardari, is returning to Pakistan to lead the PPP’s campaign in Punjab, Daily Times has learnt. “Yes, Zardari is coming to Pakistan soon, most probably next week.
He will be leading the party’s campaign in Punjab. However, the date for his return has not been finalised,” said a senior party leader. He said that since Benazir was facing security problems in running her election campaign, the party has assigned Zardari to lead all party rallies.
“He will be leading rallies, while Bhutto will be addressing public gatherings,” the party leader added. Zardari would also contest NA elections from NA-213, Nawabshah, in the by-elections. staff report
Re: Zardari returning to Pakistan to lead PPP campaign.
Still better then this tyrant and evil dictator... Zardari at worst is an idiot, but Mushu is a traitor to the country who should be tried for treason...
Re: Zardari returning to Pakistan to lead PPP campaign.
Oh God, that’s all the BB needs with her party already imploding within, and her getting pretty pathetic receptions during her visits to Punjab, interior Sindh, NWFP and now Balochistan.
Re: Zardari returning to Pakistan to lead PPP campaign.
Zardari's already messing things up for PPP... He allotted a ticket to someone who had a strife with Nauheed Khan, who withdrew her papers in protest...
Re: Zardari returning to Pakistan to lead PPP campaign.
i remember the time when he used to be a complete paindu, and then all of a sudden one day he gets rid of his moustache and starts dressing up properly… after that he really became notorious for kickbacks and bribes.
Re: Zardari returning to Pakistan to lead PPP campaign.
until now PPP being guilty concsious were keeping zardari profile very low or behind the scenes. admitting in way they are corrupt. but Pakistani people still dont get the idea.
one thing he is good at like chota ganja is making deals so he will be required during horse trading sessions after elections. getting him in pre election may invlove some pre election trading :) anything else he will set PPP few seats back in assembley.
