If he ran with a clear and declared intent to hold a political position, people would not have voted him in. He still is not voted in but because his party is, he is sort of hijacking the votebank.
The samething with NS, he himself didn't run on a seat but he may very well be appointed as whatever because his party won seats.
People of Pakistan who voted for PPP voted for PPP minus Zardari. He's basically hijacking the votes because he's in a position to do so. Though it's not right.

oh good god ehtesab, all this information has been available previously, and not just this the cases in the whole dessault kickback deals, the UN oil for food scandal of Iraq, the rockwood estate (surey palace) deal. It just has not been deemed newsworthy enough by lawyers and media at large.

NS has emerged as the biggest bonga and duffer in this drama that is being played out in front of the nation since BB's death. Zardari used him like loo paper - period. I don't think Zardari is sincere about restoring judges or anything and once elected as President he is likely to keep the 17th amendment. Musharraf's ouster was also Zardari's aim so what did NS gain in all this apart from badla?. NS nay zaati badla ley kar aur Mush nay kursi k liye NRO laga kar pooray mulk ka bera garq kar diya. Crooks and criminals like Zardari should never have been allowed back into politics.

MQM should do whatever people of Sindh want. People of Sindh voted for PPP and Zardari, so MQM should support them and never betray them as it did in 1989.
I am no big fan of Mush and military rulers and I also want to see a strong democratic Pakistan but when your alternatives are goons, dakus, looters and duffers like Zardari, Altaf and NS it is really like hoping against hope....inn logon ne kabhi nahin badalna. Our political parties are all dynasties....yeh badshahatein hein

I had the misfortune of listening to some of the over-zealous and jaahil speeches by our so-called MNAs live from the parliament house the day Mush resigned. Even some doodh wale aur pheri wale can perhaps speak better than some of these idiots....

Even Gilani I dare say is not prime ministerial material at all. A simple BA (being a graduate is no big deal in Pakistan these days!!), he did not become PM because of any personal charisma, intelligence or leadership qualities. He just got lucky (that he was in PPP, in the good books of Zardari etc.)....likhi huey speech bhi saheeh tarah naheen parh sakta yeh gadha, yeh to iss kee liaqat aur qaabliyat hai......*even Bush was looking at him sarcastically *k yeh Pakistan se kya cheez uth k aa gayee hai....
I don't support any particular party but among the current lot Imran Khan, Mushahid Hussain besides a few others impress me. I want to see more and more educated people like them sitting in parliament. Mushahid should be the PML-Q head instead of those jaahil Chaudharies.

I know it's a very big ask but one thing Mush should have done is introduced domestic political reforms (abolished jaageerdarana system, introduced intra-party elections etc.)

People of Pakistan and specially Punjab should accept Zardari as president, otherwise he would raise the slogans of "Pakistan na khapay" which he prohibited to be raised on BB's murder.
