Zardari, Nawaz agree to impeach Musharraf

People who listen to these sermons are either mental retards or do so as an amusement…

Re: Zardari, Nawaz agree to impeach Musharraf

Great Aalsi bhaijan great to note that due to illegal nature of this retard oops I mean retired army general you have stopped reffering him as the president…I hope your new principled stance continues…may be after his impeachment he will join his other partner the mentally disturbed Altaf Hussain in London to become the** resident **of the great city of London where they can find some great facilities for mentally disturbed people… and from where they can use telecommunication technology to give their great sermons together to some mentally disturbed people in our country…and thus he can continue giving some great sevices to our nation…

Hahaha. Yazdi bhaijan. Who says that Pakistanis do not have a sense of Humor. :hehe:

Great President Musharaf, the greatest Pakistani leader since Quaid-e-Azam will forever remain great.

I do agree with you...otherwise we would not have clowns like these as our leaders...

I have my doubts if retired army general will remain great forever or not…but our own great Aalsi bhaijan will always remain great…:hooray:

Who is greater clown than AH? The last salams of great AH second to Mush and third to Quaid-e-Azam are just like he is firing from AK-47 the favorite assault weapon of MQM, on brothers and sisters of Punjab.:D

(CNN) – Pakistan’s ruling coalition plans to make an announcement Thursday on whether it will impeach President Pervez Musharraf.
Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf could face impeachment by the government.

Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf could face impeachment by the government.

“A decision has been made that he has to go now, and all the parties have agreed on this point.” said Capt. Wasif Syed, spokesman for the Pakistan People’s Party – which leads the governing coalition.

The coalition has been holding negotiations to determine whether it should give Musharraf an ultimatum to resign or whether it should threaten to impeach him.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said Musharraf was to leave for China on Thursday to attend the opening ceremony of the Olympics on Friday. That contradicted earlier reports on Pakistan’s state-run news agency that Musharraf had canceled his visit amid the brewing the political standoff.

Musharraf, who seized power in a 1999 military coup, has seen his power erode significantly since he stepped down as the country’s military ruler last year, and since opposition parties’ victory in February’s parliamentary elections.

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat-e-Ulemai Islam (F) has decided on Thursday to support the ruling coalition’s decisions on president’s impeachment and judges’ restoration.

Sources said that JUI held a meeting headed by its chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman in Islamabad today in which they decided to support any joint move by the PPP and PML-N on president’s impeachment and judges’ reinstatement.

JUI leader Maulana Amjad Khan said his party would fully support the ruling coalition on judges’ restoration and president’s impeachment.

He is really in deep sh1t. Best way for him is that he should announce resignation before coalition’s official announcement.

Re: Musharraf is to be impeached

Hamid Mir was on Geo talking about the political situation and he feels that Musharraf has lost all his 'political' support, even from his attorney general. The only thing that he might use would be 58(2)b, for which he needs backing from the army.

Its official, he will be impeached if he fails a confidence vote:

ISLAMABAD: President Pervez Musharraf will have to face impeachment under Article 47 of the Constitution if he fails to take vote of confidence from the assemblies immediately.

This was announced by Co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Asif Ali Zardari at a joint press conference with Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief, Nawaz Sharif, here at Zardari House on Thursday.

The announcement came after two-days of marathon meetings held by the ruling coalition parties including PPP, PML-N and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam.

“The President had failed to take vote of confidence after February 18 general elections,” Asif Zardari pointed out.

He said the coalition has resolved that the President sacked the top judiciary through extra-judicial means.

The policies pursued by the President Musharraf led government are responsible for the “economic impasse, worst power shortage in the history,” he said.

“It has now become imperative to impeach President Pervez Musharraf under Article 47,” Asif Zardari said.

Re: Musharraf is to be impeached

i reallyyy hope he uses his powers of article 58 2 b n dissolve the assemblies!..n put these looters alongwith their sidekicks into jail...ritenow they see him as an obstacle..its about time this nation wakeup n juz stop fallin prey to their viscious plans..once n for all!

as for the restoration of judges..they r playin dirty politics now..those wanna be politicians huh

I agree, that the current ruling clan does not want to be checked, and thats why they want Musharraf out. After this, they will have all the freedom to do what they do best, i.e. make money.
However, dissolving assembly is not the way to go. Worst case, Musharraf should resign. Let nation realize the mistake they did by electing Mr. Asif 10% Zardari and Nawaz blackmailer Shareef as their leaders.

Re: Musharraf is to be impeached

but the thing is this nation is not known for realizing the truth..u have to keep in mind that more than 70% of the population consists of illiterate ppl..who dun have the ability to think n evaluate the pros n cons of a situation..i personally know ppl (relatives)who hate the president as much as i hate to say it!..illiteracy is our biggest problem..then narrowmindedness..they cant think out of the box..cant accept new liberal ppl...especially who have americas support..so u cant leave it on the masses..who r too naive to make a reasonable choice..he has to take a solid step!

Re: Musharraf is to be impeached

the real devil for all this is who has so much blood around the world on his hands; the president of United States - bush.

president of Pakistan has been like always a disappinting puppet riddled with domestic disunity and international political and unethical intrusive pressures and exploitation.

the mokeyish behavior of power mongers back home is abominable.

the word impeach is a small word, its cheap as it is copied from the legacy of US govt.

the question to ask is: when will there be a day when Muslims and Pakistanis specifically, will learn to be a little tad bit original in keeping their own house in fair order??

Paksitanis forget with all their rant on geiret that they need to stand firm.

Re: Zardari, Nawaz agree to impeach Musharraf

show some respect to the president...nomatter what he is still our PRESIDENT okay..!..so keep ur dirty mouth shut!..or u wanna wash ur dirty linen infront of the whole world..those 3 scumbags arnt no angels either..huh..n that mulla who only got 2-3 votes frm his hometown lol..ya he will restore ur judges fur sure..dream on!

God bless you yazdi bhaijan, and God bless Great President Musharaf, the greatest Pakistani leader since Quaid-e-Azam. :hooray:

Re: Zardari, Nawaz agree to impeach Musharraf

Spock bhai, I got it, his name is CJ Bakhtiyar. I kept calling him CJ Sajjad, sorry if I offended anybody. I didn't mean to. It was an honest mistake, not intended to discount the stature of CJ Bakhtiyar in any form or shape. sorry again.

Who u trying to fool?

The people of Pakistan did not ask him to be 'President'.

He forced his corrupt rule on Pakistan, he is deservedly the most hated and disrespected person in Pakistan
