People knew very well who would come in to power when they cast their votes. Zulfiqar A. Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Asif Zardari, now Bilawal's name is changed to Bhutto so he too can cling on to power. Do you not see a trend? The people democratically voted for a corrupt monarchy.
The law bars Zardari from holding office. If there is anyone to blame for Zardari being 'above' the law, its the NRO, which is illegal. We dont have an independent judiciary to rule the NRO as being illegal. Wasnt Nawaz Sharif prevented from taking office because of his record, by the law? Ironically, the person who came up with the NRO in hopes to retain his kursi was sent packing a little while after.
Blame the NRO, not the people.
