ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Khursheed Shah lauded Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif’s decision of not taking extension in tenure, ARY News reported.
Syed Khursheed Shah, in an informal talk with journalists at the Parliament House here on Tuesday, said that the army chiefs in the past continued the tradition of staging coups in the country but COAS Raheel Sharif ended the culture by not taking extension.

Only representatives from Sindh visit him because he can not come to Pakistan after what he said for the army top brass.

Just because I belong to Punjab makes me answerable for things some people in Punjab might say? Why do you think that ethnicity of a person is primary determinant of that person's views?
I do not believe COAS should get extensions. Neither should other bureaucrats. If some people in Punjab or elsewhere think that he should get extension, I do not agree with them and I do not need to answer you on their behalf.
