Last month, the Lahore High Court ruled on May 12th that Zardari must relinquish his post of PPP chairman, as the President cannot hold dual offices. There was no response from the presidency, and now the LHC has given the presidency a week to respond as to why Zardari hasnt acted upon the court’s orders.
No action from the presidency in the next week could result in a contempt of court case against Zardari. This is a very calculated move by Zardari and PPP to instigate the courts to no end, and make them remove as many PPP officials as possible, as each and every removal will get PPP some brownie points, if nothing else, as they have nothing else to show for the coming elections.

LHC is the most political court in the country. Why does it matter to the LHC? Aren't there far bigger issues they should be focusing on? Like giving the average person access to justice for once instead of always poking their nose in matters that don't concern them.

Unfortunately their decisions based on racism and hatred are only against Sindh's politicians. Bhutto was also victim of such ugly decisions.

Only President of the country can not hold two offices or this is for any minister & chief minister as well?

It is not matter of holding two offices, it is the matter of presidency

We still do not know, what Zardari is, President of Pakistan or Chairman of PPP... he need to be one!!! if he is President of Pakistan, then he should act like one, do not use President House for political activities of certain parties or let me put it in better way, let us not make the president house a camp office of any particular party!!!

I dont understand this law. Chairmanship of PPP is not a govt post, so why there is a conflict. Its like saying that you cannot be president of Pakistan, as well as captain of your football team.

The objection is, do not turn Presidency into camp office of a particular political party!!! remember, the presidency palace is run by our money and not by the party fund of any party!

That Slave or what was his name, Fazl Hussain or Ellahi, who was president during ZAB's time... they both didn't run party's CEC meeting in presidency!!!

Currently the Cabinet or the parliament is non-functional the CEC of PPP which is comprised of elected and non-elected members of PPP are actual parliament of Pakistan, they make all decisions thinking about their Party and not about Pakistan... the mess in the country is prove to my statement, 1000s have been killed only in the 1st half of this year in Karachi alone, Balochistan is echoing with rebel movement, Blasts in KPK, terrorists activitties in Punjab, Borders are un secure, economy is in distress, electricity have became rare commodity, Industries and Business and Employees and labor are suffering the the most and yet the govt is not to be seen any where... reason, the President of Pakistan, who should look into it and ask the PM office to fix the situation is actually the part of the problem... because the President is not acting like the president of Pakistan, he is more or less acting like Chairman of PPP... who have anything else but PPP in his mind... needless to say, corruption is right of PPP

Because your N$ does not tolerate CJ when he is in the seat of power. I think you have already forgotten jab N$ ne CJ Sajjad Hussain Shah ki band aor SC ki eent eent se eent bajha di thi. Perhaps these judges only know this language. sharafat ki zaban in ki samajh se baahir hay. I would still say Zardari should arrest son of CJ and fire some judges, there are no alternatives.

Person A is appointed as a MD of Large Industrial Unit, now before his appointment, he was running a small business of his own which can be benefited by the position he have got or is in direct conflict of interest with the Unit, now the Person A, hold his meeting about his business in the premises of the Industrial Unit and the unit itself is deteriorating because of negligence and mismanagement!!! who is criminal here???

If do not get this or answer this, i am not obliged to carry on discussion with you in this thread!!! It is hard to convince a Jiyala that Govt Money is not the property of Bhutto Clan any way
