And u r a psychological dr wanna be?

Re: Zardari - 2008 -2013

yes I did, though you did not want to bring in "criticism" and wanted to praise then you need to bring up issues that he was able to resolve, most of the issues you listed were military controlled/influenced and Zardari had not say in it even if he wanted to jump in it. That post of mine was to tell people who said there were no "scandals" in Zardari eral.

We still remember Zardari trying to launch baby bhutto career in Englaaand when he received gift of shoe for his face in midst of the flood crisis, you may not want to recall it probably because both Zardari and Nwaz Shrif are back-scratchers of each other.

Re: Zardari - 2008 -2013

1) When Zardari took over and with the mess the country was in, seriously, no one expected him to get out of this hole, now if you want to transfer the credit to Military, then so be it, still Zardari was president. Surely there were scandals and those not liked or protected by him were humiliated by Media and Law Agencies, that Minister of Religious Affairs ( haj scandal fame with gillani's son, comes to mind) and then there were those he protected, Punjab Bank scandal fame is another example where son of Pervaiz Illahi was escorted out of country to live free life... if i recall it right, he made hundreds of thread on all those issues, criticized him... didn't we?

2) That Jotta thing is not a good gesture by anymean, it can be thrown to anyone at anytime... there are plenty who would do that for few hundred or thousand Rupees, target can be anyone...

Lulz at this thread and his obsession with Zardari

Re: Zardari - 2008 -2013

I think when you write such comments you always forget your obsession with Phattoo Khan. You know OP is not a PPP supporter hence your above observation is outcome of personal hatred to this person.

Re: Zardari - 2008 -2013

You're a joke. Along with this thread. Look at the economics and you'll get an idea of what truly happened.

Re: Zardari - 2008 -2013

Army had all the reasons to wrap up PPP government any time, but they didn't, so yes credit goes to them. Army calls the shots if and when they want to restrict TTP/militants, they only use civilian as excuse to not launch an offensive in difficult terrains. Pakistan sank too far in debt without anything to show for it, if you are happy that Zardari handed over government peacefully to Nawaz Sharif then you have all the rights to be happy and celebrate.

I think that joota thing is one of the best things a normal civilian being can do to raise his voice against so called elites who care more about themselves and not the nation they should be "serving", as for them being available for rent is another sad story of being an ordinary citizen.

Zardari acquitted in polo ground case

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court on Wednesday acquitted former president Asif Ali Zardari in the polo ground corruption reference, DawnNews reported.

The court announced the verdict saying the accused had not been proven guilty so far.

It further stated that evidence against the former president was not sufficient for further proceedings.

This reference builds upon the construction of a polo ground along with ancillary works at the Prime Minister House, which NAB says are illegal and in violation of the rights and privileges that were afforded to Zardari.

In February, the court had reserved its judgment on the application of the former president seeking acquittal in the corruption reference.

The reference filed in 2000 alleged that the polo ground at the Prime Minister House was constructed during the second tenure of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto on the verbal orders of her husband Asif Ali Zardari to CDA chairmen Saeed Mehdi and Shafi Sehwani at an estimated cost of Rs52.29 million.

The NAB in the reference nominated the two former CDA chairmen as the principal accused. It was alleged that both the former CDA chiefs got sheds constructed and carried out landscaping in a portion of the Prime Minister House and converted it into a polo ground.

Now as court has dumped the case against Zardari, the former president should file a defamation suit against NAB for bringing up a fallacious case against him and bringing his name to disrepute.

Zardari should be credited for leading a remarkably untainted political life without a trace of corruption. I am not talking about accusations. He was surely named in a large number of corruption cases, but he has not been found guilty in any case as we speak. The nation and its institutions, including establishment, governments and political parties, are collectively responsible for maligning a noble man and dragging him through one court to another.
