Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

^^ But you're assuming that this girl is wired like every other girl. Clearly she's not. If she's ok with it, I'm ok with it. It's her body, her life. Not mine, so who am I to judge her?

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

Also, I applaud her for opening up a dialogue about this subject. It lets girls/women know who may be like her that there are others in our patriarchal and judgmental society.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

See, the my body my life view doesn't make sense to me. It reads like an adolescent. You can't impose your views on a person......but it starts with one ahmaq person, then a bigger and braver ahmaq, a few more, then a dozen....and then moral fabric of society is rent apart. Cheering people for being bold and uninhibited and modern ya whatever....phir baad main they complain about the devastating effects that result in relationships, health, etc etc. Let's applaud such individuality....even if it will later on impact the group/masses. Insaan aur jaanwar main faraq hi nahi rahay.

Like for Qandeel Baloch and comment for Zahra Haider...

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

Agreed that we shouldn't be judging anyone but the problem is she is implying everyone is as horny as she is by mentioning how much Pakistanis watch porn and that everyone does it. Sure, everyone does it but not to this extent. It's just not true. Most Pakistanis don't have access to the internet and being able to have a boyfriend/girlfriend without the fear of getting chittar or even killed would them happy enough.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

So if you click on the link that's in the article it says "Pakistan tops list of most pron-searching countries: Google". It doesn't mean that people are sitting around watching full length movies, it could mean people are genuinely curious and are searching anything that they don't want to ask their parents or whoever or just want answers. Also, the stats are coming from those who have internet in Pakistan who are readily seeking these things out via the internet, so I guess people who have the internet are horny or at the very least curious. Can't argue with google facts since they track EVERYTHING you do via their search engine for statistics reporting.

Also, what's wrong with being "horny"? We are humans, everyone has urges.

Pakistani men were also voted the world's third most sexiest... Is that also an issue? ;)

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being horny but it is a problem when one can't stay faithful to his/her partner due to their urges and when they end up catching an STD or worse HIV. A 19 year old bragging about having 12 sex partners is just not mature enough to protect herself from STDs. At least, I don't believe so. I only wonder what kind of people she attracted, they too must have had many partners. You are right, we are humans and we have urges but most of us can contain ourselves because most of us are in good relationships and we don't hurt people we love by sleeping around or spreading diseases just because we are horny.

I don't know about other Pakistani men but yeah, my man is the sexiest so I guess there is no issue.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

Did I misread something? Where does it state she was being unfaithful?

How do you know she's not mature enough to protect herself from HIV and STDs? You don't know that these were one night stands or partners she's known. People don't give the younger generation credit for their knowledge on these things. I knew far more than I let on at her age because I wanted to educate myself because I know my parents weren't going to.

Also, just because of someone's questionable history does not make them susceptible to questionable partners. In fact, I know a lot of girls who've hid their sexual history or intend to with their future partner because they don't want to be judged because it's not what these supposed "decent" guys want to hear. Which, IMO, is worse than being transparent.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

I am just here to read all the comments. Haha!!

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

I hate the word "urges" ... wtf... horny, turned on etc. is fine. Just like I hate the word "moist" ....

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

kudos to her for saving 200 bucks on every single sexual interaction  Sounds like she saved a lot of money moving to Canada.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

She says she slept with 12 people yet thinks her sexuality was repressed. :hehe:

It also made me realize I would never sleep with someone who was ignorant enough to believe all Pakistani women must be religious (yes, this happens) and thus assuming I wouldn't sleep with them.
[/quote]

so let me see if I've got this right.....
she's never going to sleep with someone that thinks she's never going to sleep with them.
hmm....smart.

or maybe she should just sleep with him to prove to him that he's ignorant.....

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

This world would be a better place if more women thought like this :biggthumb:

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

This.

Her article (more like a rant) is full of contradictions. Almost seems like she's cussing people who don't sleep around. Then she says that she's repressed, yet has slept with a dozen men before her 19th.

Some repression that is...

She then rants about her parents, but lets face it, which parent ( in any country) would react with pride at hearing their daughter is sleeping around everywhere.

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

she's in Toronto, right?
can we just invite her and have a guppy meet?
such an intriguing personality.....

Re: Zahra Haiders Article about relationships in Pakistan

I really hate how she quotes pakistan as having the most porn searches,

Does Pakistan REALLY “TOPS” List of Most Porn Searching Countries?

this article raises some interesting points, however the article it self is poorly written and doesnt raise a good counter point of those sites that he listed, most of them are blocked in Pakistan. Needless to say, of course there is sexual suppression, but I really doubt those surveys are being 100
