We no longer live in 5th centuary, when these “lower castes” or “upper castes” were associated with certain trades. The whole concept of UPPER & LOWER caste is against everything Islam is about.

im chaudhry, and i gotta say i gota a big head, haha
but alhamdulillah, im practising and i dont look down upon other castes, beacuse its against the teachings of islam, but the thing is, even thought i come from a wealthy background, goin back yeaaarsss.. my dad has always treated the poorer people, or those classed as ‘lower castes’ in our village with respect, and helps them with education and deen.

Once people become more aware of the teachings of islam, and our beloved prophet pbuh, pakistan will be a much fairer place. ok, the caste system will take alooot of time to get rid of, but eventually we’ll get there, but i gotta say, i live in the u.k, where they beilive in equality blah blah, but even people of english origin discriminate in terms of class..
