I wonder what is going to be the next step… may be ban the internet altogether.
If we let mullahs dictate us we will really end up in some primitive era…
Why can’t we teach people to use their right of choice if they don’t like something instead of banning everything…

Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Did Mullahs put a ban on youtube? No
So stop blaming mullahs for everything and go watch Geo News or whatever on your TV.
Oh please, save your derogatory* mullah *comments. YT was banned before as well. Grow up!
Yeah by Musharraf.
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Good news:
*
Siraj said the blocking of the two websites would cut up to 25 percent of total Internet traffic in Pakistan.
“It’ll have an impact on the overall Internet traffic as they eat up 20 to 25 percent of the country’s total 65 giga-bytes traffic,” he said.
*
cant wait to skype now!!!
65giga bytes? LOL ???

Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Congrats! You give an inch against these people they will ask for mile. As I said on the previous thread this is utter stupidity and mullahs are pushing Pakistan backward 1 step at a time. :)
BTW, there used to be time during British Raj when mullahs issued fatwa against learning English. As a result, Hindus got good education and advanced and Muslim were stuck at the bottom.
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Yep, you learn a lot from facebook and youtube.
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
I say, Ban internet altogether...
I dont understand why are they being so childish in responding to this issue?
Pakistan is going back to stone age....
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Yep, you learn a lot from facebook and youtube.
You sure do when you connect with people around the world, exchange ideas and expand your knowledge about things and people. The internet/social media has revolutionized that like never imagined before.
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
again you guys with your pathetic mullah bashing.
Publications of similar cartoons in Danish newspapers in 2005 sparked deadly protests in Muslim countries. Around 50 people were killed during violent protests in Muslim countries in 2006 over the cartoons, five of them in Pakistan.
The courts banned the site because of fear of riots again. You want your country to be looted and burned down because of a page?
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
They can do ban on selective videos on youtube. In UAE you cannot see EVERYTHING thats on youtube. The vids are not available to watch. :hinna:
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
FT … Same is here
some of the videos can’t be seen
but for Pakistani kids its good to banned these type of sites :heheh:
Mullah Izzam Zinda Baad ![]()
Bhei where are you going to put a fullstop…you can find nasty stuff all over the internet…yahoo, google, wiki(which has just been banned) etc etc…
Will they ban the internet?..People need to control their emotions and learn to act wisely whenever such kind of matter comes up.
Oh please, save your derogatory* mullah *comments. YT was banned before as well. Grow up!
You did not bother to open the thread I provided from the dawn website... just look at the picture of these mullah/mullani protest.. to get internet banned in the country!!!
If you are hurt because of my mullah derogatory remarks, you should learn to tolerate a different view point instead of getting violent or advocating banning every tool of freedom of speech and learning...
Yeah ban google also with the same logic... in fact ban everything in Pakistan except for these semi intelligent bearded monkeys who commit suicide attacks to kill innocent people...!!!
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Well yazdi, why are you getting so angry over this issue? I am sure they will re-activate it someday, may be with some more filters. But right now , at this moment, the need is to show West or precisely to those ppl who have started all this mess with solo purpose of making fun of Muslims and their beliefs, that they should not take us so easy. If we all sat quitely today, and let them do what they want, One it will hurt many muslims and make them feel weak, two its gonna invite massive violance around the globe (specially in countries like Pak where ppl are more emotional) and 3rd those western besharams will get courage to do something more besharam tomorrow. A little warning is very important so they think atleast twice before they think of repeating something like this again.
Re: Youtube banned as well in Pakistan..
Fairytale do you think our protest will stop them from having that competition?
Our outrageous reactions and ban over different websites have only given them publicity, not many people were aware of this competition until they saw anti-competition groups created by some people, as a result more people joined that group in order to see what's happening there and now they might be participating in it too....
The point is internet is infinite, can you stop them?...can your reaction embarrass them of what they are doing? Ofcourse No, you block their one site they will come up with something more stupid next time on another website...
They want attention and publicity ....we are giving them free of cost.

Well until the people learn to control their emotions, this ban is a good step.

Nice, so dawn (the anti-Islam) news outlet posts a picture of niqabi women and labels her JuD and you go up in arms insulting the sunnah of Rasulullah(SAW) ! Be thankful there are people still who protest and uphold the sunnah!
Your twisted thinking is leading your country to the toilet. You will only get more "bearded monkeys" if you keep on promoting this twisted kuffar way of thinking.

You're kidding, right? How is this going to hurt west? Banning YT/FB and Google or even internet is wont make any diff to the west. It will only hurt Muslims in the countries where its banned, and it shows the level of intolerance toward the very ideas that west is based on, like free speech.
It also harms Muslims in western countries where people rightly are scared of Muslims and their intolerance of things like free speech, democracy and the rule of law. Why do you think European countries like France, Netherlands and Belgium are banning burqa and minarets?
